  I hired City Green Environmental to care for the pest, weed and disease control of my lawn. In June of this year I notice the lawn was ******** out and had numerous weeds. I contacted City Green about this problem and sent them pictures of the area showing the problem spots. They sent someone out who told me that the weeds were only able to be killed by a herbacide and that would cause large brown patches in my front lawn. The *** would have objected to large dead areas of grass on my front lawn. I asked the technician why this has become so out of control and he just shrugged his shoulders. I told him I expected City Green would have detected the problem and taken corrective steps to avoid such a massive area of weeds/crabgrass. Again, no explanation, just shrugging of the shoulders and an apology. He told me the other large sick looking areas were a lawn funcus and he said he would treat for that. The lawn continued to deterioriate over the next month or 2, I called them back and sent more pictures. By this time, the front lawn was in need of being resodded because the damage was so significant and irreversable. Please see provided picture. They sent the same guy back out who told me there was nothing they could really do other than eradicate the large weed/crabgrass patches with herbacide, thus requiring new sod to be installed. He said that would be up to me at my cost, even though they ruined my yard through inaction or incorrect action. They have been unresponsive and I canceled the service teling them I was filing a complaint with BBB. The lawn was ruined by them. I want them to replace the damaged areas of the yard or fully refund what I paid them to date. Their website says they guarantee their work and "Go the extra mile to be sure of satisfaction." I only ask that they stand behind these words.
