    Prior to December of 2024, ********** ******* gave Century Link permission to come on our property to push wire. Century Link used Ivy H Smith to do the work. When we arrived at our home in December, we had sewer issues and a hump across our driveway, where they pushed the wire. It took them 2 times of digging up our yard however they did (hopefully) fix the sewer issue. For the driveway, they came to fix it while we were out of town and when we got home, we found that instead of just tamping down the hump, they removed a dozen patio pavers and replaced them with different pavers, which do not match! They also left a mess of sand all over the driveway. We called right away and they sent a person out to look because their subcontractor had told them the drive was fixed when it was worse than before. The person Ivy Smith sent said they would find matching bricks and come back to fix it because they agreed it was not right. The subcontractor then came back out, but without any replacement bricks. They told us they were not able to find bricks to match our driveway. We told them WE would find bricks. I sent a text to ****, the manager I had been speaking to at Ivy Smith, on 3/21/25, and let him know we would get in touch when we had matching bricks - he responded with "Okay thank you". 2 weeks later, on 4/7/25, I sent **** a text letting him know we had found the bricks and that we were ready for them to come install them. He did not respond so I sent him another text on 4/17/25 saying the same thing. He did not respond again so I called him and that's when he told me that we would have to PAY if we wanted Ivy Smith to come and fix what they destroyed. This is unacceptable given that we did not give them permission to push under our driveway and we had to find bricks to match what they destroyed. I believe Ivy Smith needs to make this right and come back to install the bricks we found to match our driveway. It should look like it did before they came on our property.
