    We just had a horrific experience with ***** of Randys Island Glass. When they came to install the high impact windows we asked if they wanted us to remove our shades they said NO. The shades were in perfect condition prior to the installation but were ripped along the bottoms & lower side panels due to their negligence. ***** claims the installers informed ** the shades were already ripped, this is not true. He informed us that their contract does not cover torn shades. After a long conversation we could not come to an agreement. As a result we are forced to replace the shades at a cost to us of $800.63.We would never recommend this company. They had the opportunity to avoid an issue but chose not to.

    We apologize for your inconvenience, but our installers and owner confirmed the shades were ripped before we took them down and put them back up. Our contract does state that we are NOT responsible for any damages for shades or blinds- it is the nature of the window and sliding glass door industry.

    How many different versions of your fairy tale are you going to concoct? My husband offered to take them down l& was told it wasnt necessary because you do this all the time. They were absolutely NOT ripped before your installation. You can play the *** game all you want but the truth is you damaged our **************** choosing to do business with you does it at their own risk. Your negligence was costly to us.
