      On 2/14/24 I paid $327.52 to rent a pontoon boat for 2/29. Our guests werent feeling well so we cancelled and got a store credit.A few days later there was a fraudulent charge on my credit card for $54.54 because they took it upon themselves to raise the price of the boat and charge my card with no warning or permission.After several emails I managed to get the unauthorized charge refunded but we refuse to do business with this company and I want the $327.52 returned as well. I disputed the charge with Discover but I know Saltys will fight it and say they gave us the store credit but after they stole money from my charge card, we refuse to rent from these thieves. They stopped replying to emails, they dont answer the phone or call back. When we called from a blocked number and asked for a refund, they hung up.??

      Customer is trying to subvert our weather policy.     They have a history of writing bad reviews on small companies to get their way.    Shameful behavior at best.

      I am rejecting this response because:

      Saltys WaterSports fraudulently charged my Discover card without permission. If they informed me about the $54 rate increase, I wouldnt have cared but they took it upon themselves to charge my card without asking and I dont do business that way.They are theives and liars. Weather was NEVER an issue. 
      As for bad reviews on Yelp, I also give good reviews when deserved. I give HONEST reviews and please do not allow them to steal my  $327. They will not get away with robbing from customers!

      This shows the unauthorized charge on 3/7 and the credit back after I contacted them. I am still fighting for the $327.50

      This had absolutely nothing to do with the weather and they know that. I only write  bad reviews for companies that deserve it. I also write good reviews.

      *****'s charged my credit card without permission and i refuse to do business with thieves. THAT is the issue and Im tired of their lies and lame excuses. I want a full refund!

      I booked 2 tickets for $573.94 total for the Dolphin *************************************** a dolphin boat tour on July 1st 2023, from Saltys Water Sports that was scheduled to leave on July 2nd 2023 at 5pm. I received a call at 7:56 am on July 2nd 2023, from Saltys Water Sports asking me to change my tour time from 5pm to 6pm, but I didnt know why. I agreed to it while half asleep. When I arrived 7/2 to know where the location was of the tour. The employee told me the tour was canceled several times. I informed her I received a call this morning informing me the trip would be at 6pm instead of 5pm. She said it was canceled due to the holiday and boat traffic that I most likely wont see any dolphins. So I called to request my refund. They informed me that I will not receive a refund and can only get a ************* to come back to complete the boat tour. I advised that Im not from the state and cant. Then the representative said that if I wouldnt have made the reservation online and called instead I wouldve been advised that this isnt a recommended time to go because of the holiday traffic. The representative proceeded to speak over me and then hung up on me. Every representative was saying different things. They changed things twice and all I want is a refund of $573.94 due to not using the service because they canceled on me.
