    We hired Bay Handyman to remodel bathroom in our house.
    We needed a new subfloor installed, new larger walk in shower to replace shower/tub combo, move the toilet over to new location and move the sink plumbing over for new vanity cabinet install. We also wanted new flooring installed.
    We also wanted new lighting fixtures and venting moved as well. We purchased the shower pan, walls, toilet, vanity, light fixtures and shower fixtures.
    The start date was Monday February 20. The
    The original agreed completed date was Wednesday 22nd.
    The company then said it would take until Friday.
    I was unhappy with the work and progress as they seemed to have many issues, so I stopped work on Thursday 23rd.
    After they left, the following week, I had a licensed plumber check their work and found many issues they had created in moving the plumbing. I had sent an email and asked the company to reimburse me for the amount I had to pay the plumber to repair the plumbing. They have refused and stated the would have found the issues and repaired had I given them until Friday to complete the work. However, if they had installed drains and moved plumbing correctly as they went, they would not have needed an extra day to find all the leaks and issues to repair. When they left on Thursday, they left uder good terms and paid in full. They stated it should only take a plumber just a few hours to finish the install. This was wrong as it took the plumber a full day to repair all the leaks. It took an additional few days to complete the full install. I would like reimbursement for the repair of the leaks and install issues they created as they moved plumbing.

    We are currently investigating the issue. Per her emails we are allowed to contact the plumber that provided the repairs to talk to him. However, we have contacted him multiple times and left voicemails, also she has said she will talk to him regarding our situation and try to get him to call us. This has not happened yet. So currently this case case is pending until we are able to investigate further.
