Converged Telephony Networks reached out to our company April of 2023 and informed us that our **** bill would have an outrageous increase on our next billing cycle, and that they would be able to cut our bill if we switched to their company. Initially we did not want to switch just because we were unsure about this company especially being a third-party solution provider for **** and we already had a lease with Avaya. Long story short we switched due to billing increase and Converged Telephony Networks agreed to buyout Avaya. We've now been in service with this company for 9 months and still haven't received payment for buyout of Avaya. We have contacted them REPEATEDLY OVER THE LAST SEVERAL MONTHS with phone records and emails as proof with very minimal response. As of right now we are currently paying Avaya and Converged Telephony because Converged refuses to send reimbursement check for Avaya payoff. Amusing enough this company emailed a copy of the unsigned check on January 31, 2024, and the check has been printed since November 24, 2023. With this being our biggest issue, we do have other issues concerning our phones that we've also emailed with no response along with needing to add more phones. We are over this company and either want our reimbursement check overnighted or out of our contract with no penalties. I'm pretty sure I've communicated with everyone in this office, and I've received the same response again again with no resolution. Higher authority has even refused to take my call. This company is very unprofessional and lacks basic communication skills.Business Response

I then indicated I need their corporate information so *** can review and approve, I have not received the information. I currently do not have any phone service since Tuesday due to this issue. Back in June of 2023, near the end of the month, we were contacted by a representative from *********. The person that contacted ** had us under the belief that they were affilliated with ***** who was our current provider at the time. After approximately 3 weeks of sevice, we began to have a myriad of issues with their services. Some of these were easily resolved, yet some continued recurring and some lead to other issues they couldn't solve and that were very important to us. They offered us no alternative solutions to these issues they couldn't help with. This was the point where we decided to terminate our contract with them. I was told that it would be handled by the financial department and that there would be someone contacting me soon. After a few weeks of nothing, I attempted to contact their financial department repeatedly. Never once did I get an answer, and was always sent to voicemail. Even after leaving countless voicemails asking for a call back, I never recieved anything. I just want this to be done and over with, but the lack of contact and communication from ********* is frustrating, and arguably rude and unprofessional. I understand that they might have a high volume of calls at times, but not nearly every day for over two months.Business Response

I wanted to follow up Converged Telephony Networks to continue moving forward with the issues that we (Asian Bistro) have with converged ***** services. I have a bill attached to this email that mentions a previous bill for ****** and a current bill of ******. Based on the acknowledgement of contract terms and purchase order, it states that "Monthly recurring charges for services and equipment ( services) shall be $ ****** for 24 months. The next issue is that we are not satisfied with the services and thus we would like to cancel our services with the option of keeping our same business telephone number so that we can transfer it so that we can continue to operate as a Business. Unfortunately, due to the circumstances the issues that we face have been decreasing our workflow which causes us to have to spend more time and resources into this matter. At this time we have exhausted all measures. We want to cancel the contract so that we can take our services to another business, but we need the phone number ported. They wont let us pay, but they keep billing us every month instead of letting us cancel the contract. The phones that they gave us aren't going to work for our Business anymore. We want out of this situation but Converged Telephony Networks will not respond to us anymore. When we pay one bill, they just send another bill. We have no problem sending back any items that we need to. We need phone service for our business and we cant do that until they give us our original number back. No one calls us back and if they do then they say that they will call us back but they never do. The people that they say that should handle problems are ************************* and *************************, but they never fully helpBusiness Response

The complaint is that we do not have good phone service or internet. We are in a contract with them and they won**;t send anyone out to fix it. I tried to call patients it will dial and drop the call after 3 rings. The only decent service we have is with the cordless phones. They said they couldn**;t give us cordless phones because it would void our contract.I would be happy if they void our contract and we can find someone else to help us. *********************** lead me to believe he worked for AT&T. Their company is not associated with AT&T. We need service from them or end the contract if they can**;t make it work.Business Response

June 2021 I received a phone call from this company sells rep pretending to represent ***** the phone and internet provider I had at the time for my restaurant. The company made fraudulent claims that they could help boost my Wi-Fi within my business, because I live in rural area.I thought this would be great if it worked, which they claimed would solve my issues, so my customers could enjoy Wi-Fi while dining. It was a high pressure sell. And being a busy business owner, I really let this company take advantage of me and fell for their claims. If anyone is thinking about doing business with this company, do not fall for their sell tactics nor the the products they sell. I promise you will be let down.I was charged an astronomical amount of money for two small pieces of equipment, which were supposed to be Wi-Fi extenders..After the transaction, I did everything under my power to contact the company to let them know that these were not worth the money, and that they were not working! no one would talk to me. Even the sales rep who handled my account would not return my calls. And she told me she would be there for me if I had questions or concerns. Never spoke to her again after the transaction. She ghosted me.So I have sit on equipment that I had other technicians come in and take a look at and tell me that it never worked and told me that it was never even hooked up to work after the install. The technician who looked over the product they sold me said I could had purchased the equipment myself for a couple hundred dollars. The company charged me thousands. So I was misled by this company and was given no company customer service after the sale at all. Please BEWARE! Stay away..I believe at the time they went under the name *******Business Response

I was contacted by a representative with Converged Telephony Networks concerning our phone service, which was under contract with ***** She indicated she was affiliated **** and was helping me choose a new plan as **** was doing away with landlines and our contract was expiring. She most definitely was NOT with ****, nor is **** doing away with landlines. I was given dishonest and misleading information and have had nothing but issues with the service provided.Business Response

I am so sorry you had a bad experience with one of our representatives. We have been a solution provider with AT&T for 21 years now. All of our paperwork and email clearly shows this. We do introduce ourselves on behalf of AT&T and in most cases ************ sell our own phone service. Please contact us at your earliest convenience to resolve any outstanding matters.
Thank you.

In January of 2021, the *****************************--a 501c3 in **********, **-- was contacted by Converged Telephony Networks. They contacted our office claiming to be ***** and informed me that our TSO plan with **** needed to be renewed. This information was true, however, I did not realize that this man did not work for **** or a third-party company of theirs. He said that he would be able to set us up with a bundle deal that would lower our **** monthly payments and give us wireless access points to help with our slow WiFi in the office. After working out a contract and ensuring me that I was communicating with ***** this man sent me a copy of the contract to sign. I looked at the contract and told him that I wanted to change the 60 month lease to a 12 month lease. He said he would change that for me in their system and assured me that the contract was only for 12 months. He rushed me and told me to go ahead and sign the contract that he had sent, so we signed it and returned it to him. This conversation happened over the phone. They came and installed the wireless access points and shortly after we realized that this was not **** or a third party company of theirs. I contacted Converged and tried to ask them questions about our contract, but they only repeated that the contract was signed and nothing could be done about it. When I confronted them they insisted that the contract was for *********************************************************************************************************************************** any comments I had and continued to repeat to me that the contract was signed and nothing could be done. CTN used manipulative tactics to get us to sign their contract. Our bank advised us to fill out a revocation form to stop payments from them. Monthly payments of $185.90 are made to ***************** Services for the equipment and our contract number with ***************** is ***************. All of CTN's finances are handled through Graybar.Business Response
