    My son was prescribed medication through a provider with Meridian. He had an adverse psychological effect while on the medication and I along with law enforcement had to have him Baker Acted. The issue I am having is my son was released after only spending a day and a half in their facility. He came home still having hallucinations and intense thoughts of suicide in which I had to stay by his side throughout the events. My second issue is he was supposed to go to speak with someone immediately after being released however his appointment was scheduled for three weeks out. I have reported this multiple times and have tried to file a complaint so this doesn't happen to someone else's child however no one will return my calls to file a complaint. Had I not have been home when my son was released (considering I drive a tractor trailer regional) he may have committed suicide or hurt someone else. This is a serious problem that I have been trying to address for a month now. I would like to have a professional complaint filed before another child is placed in the same circumstances.
