Staggering incompetence all around. Employees are untrained and demonstrate poor customer relations skills. Communication is non-existent.

Regrettably I was introduced to this intuition through a dealer arranged car loan. I regret going with this Credit Union very much. They do not allow external transfers into or out of your accounts until you have been a member for six months. Imagine having no way to move your money into or out of your account. I am going to be paying me loan off immediately and closing my account. Terrible way to treat your customers. They let you go through the set-up process, get verification deposits but then do not allow you to enter the deposit amounts and complete set up because they "do not turn on that feature" for six months. Why would anyone do business with an institution that treats new customers like second class citizens? If the feature is not available, why do they allow you to go through half the process, send the deposits and then not allow you to enter that information? If the IT department cannot even prevent ineligible accounts from starting the process how can anyone trust them to keep your online information safe and secure. It's like they are holding separate IT systems together with gum and shoestrings and the systems do not communicate with each other. STAY AWAY from this restrictive institution.

My husband just opened an acct here because we moved too far from the nearest Suncoast CU where we've been a valued member for years. All of your regular tellers tucked away in a back room and have ITM screens in the lobby, but still have your face to face acct reps. ** waited almost an hour in line to try to deposit our insurance refund check and get less than $200 of cash because your ATM doesn't work just to be told a 7-day hold is being put on it and no cash. We live 1/2 hour from ***** and only come into town every other week. ** went in again to find that over $100 had been taken in fees because they failed to uphold the promise the last teller told him that as soon as his money was available (this was almost 2 weeks of a hold on a check) that they would switch it into his checking like he'd asked - they erroneously put it in his savings initially and wouldn't fix the issue til the hold was off. So the money finally became available and he did several debits that apparently bounced and those fees were to withdraw from the savings where it should not have been to begin with. They told him he was responsible for transferring it, not them. They also came to the realization that they never should have opened up accounts for him because there was an old overdrawn account that was opened in my husband's name and closed in the negative, but when they checked the ** that they had on file still and all they said was that it didn't match my husband's - they allowed someone to fraudulently open an account in his name and then had the audacity to try to take our money to cover the overage!!! They still owe us money back from the fees because they would only, "meet halfway," still claiming that he was responsible for the money being in the wrong account, and refused to get a manager to handle the situation. **'s tried calling and he just gets voicemail and they refuse to call back. Stay away from this credit union!

I had a settlement with **** financial. They told me if I pay some amount off they will settle my account and close it and also send a copy to credit bureaus, I believed them and made a payment. i was trying to buy a house and this thing still showed on my record stating that '' account was settled but not in full" so my credit score was still down to 660 because of this, I read a review online about a credit financial tech expert who has helped hundreds of companies, businesses and elites with their credit profiles and finances and I decided to give him a try . I reached out to Elitecreditandinvestment @ gmail .com , This credit specialist and their agency saved my life and my family a lot , i had to make the my financial advisors, they helped me dispute this negative record and it got deleted permanently , they also helped guide my credit score to 804 which really made my mortgage application successful while i was trying to buy a house , write directly to Elitecreditandinvestment Via gmail if you're in need of any credit related services

She wqs extremely rude and it felt like she thought she was talking to someone on the streets ,instead of in her "professional " work place. She is terribleand should think about changing careers.

Worst customer service response times of any bank I have ever dealt with. I like their products, and have had no issues with my accounts, but when trying to reach customer service, the shortest wait time I have experienced with them has been 45 minutes. It does not matter what day or time you call, it will always tell you they are experiencing larger than usual call volumes and you will just be in the endless loop. I have called first thing in the morning, midday, end of day, it doesn't matter. There should be a law about financial institutions not being able to be reached! Completely Ridiculous!

BEWARE: At the recommendation of a dealership, I took out a new car loan with Florida Federal Credit Union. After a few months, I was in a position to pay off this loan. Because I dont live near a FCU branch, I called to ascertain how much I should mail to end our financial association. I sat on hold for 45 minutes before someone finally answered the call and gave me a figure. I immediately sent a check for that amount and assumed that I was free of FCU. After several subsequent months, I received a notice that $5 of the money I gave to FCU had been used to open a FCU savings account. This notice stated that because there had been no activity by me with this account, I had been assessed an inactivity fee on that account. The first assessment had wiped out that supposed initial deposit of $5, and a subsequent assessment had put me in debt to FCU for another $5. I sent an email message to FCU stating that because I had paid off the loan, sending the dollar value requested and thereby terminating our financial relationship, of course there was no further activity . . . I did not OWE FCU more money ! A few days later, I received a threatening letter from FCU, stating that failure to send the demanded funds would result in a report being sent to credit bureaus, thereby damaging my otherwise excellent credit rating ! So how do I terminate this supposed account which FCU intends to use to continue extracting money from me? Do I phone and hope that someone will eventually come on the line in an hour or two to answer my question? This is like being associated with a loan shark - the demand for money never stops, and its impossible to get free !

I have been a member with Florida Credit Union for 10+ years. Ive been going through a bit of a hard time. I had a small loan with FCU and decided to pay off my current loan and apply for another loan to get my husbands car fixed just as Ive done in the past with no problem. Like a dummy I pay off the loan only to get denied now Im in a worst place then I started. Im not sure why I was denied as this would have been my 3rd loan with them and Ive always paid them off early. We get over that hurdle. Im in need of surgery and just needed a little bit of cash to get me to my next payday because the hospital surprised me with an additional fee I did not know of since I already paid my doctor over $1,000 just for the surgery but now the hospital wanted $956 (health insurance is trash) We apply for a $500 payday loan and was denied although in the past weve gotten them on many occasion a few years back when my credit was actually bad. They say credit unions are for the people but that is no longer the truth, at least not this one. After the pandemic you have to already have money to get any help. How will your customers be able to make it out of the trenches if they cant even get a helping hand. People who have done business with you for years only to be turned away. If I have no money you will happily charge me a fee but not help to avoid that from happening.
