Gator Fire Equipment Company installed a fire sprinkler system in our rental home for our tenants without any correspondence with us as the home owner. They did not file a Notice of Commencement or a Notice to Owner. Our first correspondence with Gator Fire was a certified letter containing a notice of lien on our property for payment issues they have with our tenant for a fire system we did not contract them to install.

    Business Response

    Date: 12/08/2022

Gator Fire did execute a contract with the lawful tenant of the property. Further, *** ******** did advise Gator Fire that she was made aware by the tenant that the tenant would require installation of the equipment for which we were contracted to install. Gator Fire is still owed money for the work. *** ******** has advised that her tenant has stopped paying her, just as they have stopped paying Gator Fire, and we share the same problem in that regard.

We are actively working towards resolution of this matter and are confident that it will conclude with all parties satisfied.
