    We hired West Shore Shades to put up 3 blinds out around our pool area. We paid over $15,00one of the sheds do not work. Ive tried to contact the owner, **** @ ************. After numerous attempts he only reached out once saying someone would call me. No one called back. So I texted his phone after numerous attempts he finally called. He was rude. I told him customer service was not good. We spent a lot of money on these shades we have only had a year and a half. Now one doesnt work and he wants to charge us to come fix it. Then he sent a text stating he wasnt going to fix it. We will have another company fix it but we want him to pay for it. He is ripping people off. Thank you

    On 10/3/24, ********** personnel came in and advised that something was tangled in my motorized screen and they needed to get a part to fix it. I noticed that the shade was down and I asked to please put it back up before they left for the day. They assured me that they would come back on 10/7/2024 to fix it and put it back up. That day no one showed up, there was no cancellation notice received and *.****** told me that he had given the week off to his personnel, that he did not notice that there was an appointment with me; and made another appointment for 10/8/2024. Mr. ****** came in with ***, service manager. After a bit, Mr. ****** advised that he did not have the part available to fix it, and that it would take him around 6 hours to remove the shade. I advised that since the storm was coming in, I needed that shade up (or removed) but he responded that he did not have 6 hours to deal with that. I responded that if there were damages due to this situation, I would claim it to WS, to which he said fine. During the storm, we had to cut the shade because the bottom of the frame was hitting/banging hard the lower part of two granite waterfalls that I have in my summer kitchen. On 11/6/24, I received a proposal/quote of $6,189. from Mr. ******* suggesting that I pay in full to replace and repair the damage that was done because WS failed to fix the issue on more than one occasion, as related above. Please see relevant documents attached, including more detailed account of events.

    On November 9,2023 My wife and I signed a contract to have a garage screen installed in our house, the cost would be $2,400, and take up to 10 weeks. We gave a deposit of $1,400.00. After 10 weeks of no contact we started calling- you can only leave a message with an answering service and no one returns your call. At 12 weeks, at 14 weeks and now at 16 weeks we keep trying to get an answer, but no one responds or calls back. The only responses I have revived was after I posted a bad ****** review detailing all of this 4 weeks ago, the response was rude and merely blamed the supplier. In that same communication through the ****** review, I was told 1-2 more weeks. I still have nothing.

    I paid this company mid October to order a screen. I was quoted one month to install. Ive called quite a few times and the last time I called the owner got aggressive. Still no screen. No update. I requested my money back. He laughed and stated his 3 day cancellation standard. I find this unacceptable. I do t want to do business with him. He has my money.

    Offered discount to install.  Then changed amount.   Installed somfrey which is a lesser quality product in the quote. Product not as promised.

    This company claimed the somfy motor was problematic.  Claimed another motor was far superior. They then installed the somfry motor.

    Motorized Awning over home patio. Agreement date: 6/12.23. Installed 8/3/23 Captions of My email letter to Owner of company on 8/17/23 on behalf of my 88yr old mother.. She felt comfortable what your company had to offer. During this stage, he asked What can I do to earn your Business. Even provided her a gift, a Puzzle, after finding this to be a fond hobby of hers. Having communicated with her, and hearing her dissatisfaction, distress, and anxiety by phone, after the install. Could it be that Bad?? So I contacted you, and you agreed to meet me and rectify. Honestly, I was shocked Tuesday seeing the poor application, and minimum space to adjust between soffit, window frame, and door to the points; top of door rubs on the fabric. Door top hit retracting arms when no extended when attempting to exit or enter. A safe concern in event of an emergency Rubbing of fabric on soffit (left, facing house) causing tension on one side that bunches when rolled up The fabric housing hitting soffit in same area. The retractor arms height to ground when extended. Left @ 59 in. right @ 62 in. Lower bolt in center holding bracket to wall is not fully screwed in and appears Bent Eventually, this will reflected as not what she paid for or financed.This awning was the wrong application for the allotted space with a door opening outward. It should not have been recommended to ************************* nor sold to her. No way did someone advised her of the height restrictions to safely walk under with arms extended, the end of awning height to comfortably seat at her table. Your staff did not do their homework! No way she would have agreed to purchase!I also learned your staff requested a signature after install and walked off. No one offered to show her how it operated, remote control uses, what the crank tool was for. She found it laying in the windowsill and her neighbor explained what it was Requesting full refund

    We went out to the customers home showed them our product we explained to the customer all the issues with putting it where she wanted it and suggested doing a roof mount. Customer did not want roof mount she wanted what her neighbor had witch is the exact samething as what she got. She had the awning for about a week before we had issues once her son came over who is over 6 feet tall and had a hard time walking  under the awning. 

    I have told the customer we would give them some of there money back and it was not good enough.

    Unfortunately it's a custom made product.

    She was very happy with the product she signed the Completion certificate for the financing company and she gave voice recognition over the phone.

    Some of the small issues with the arms of the awning rubbing against the door we explained in person and over email that we can adjust the arms so they would not rub and they where not allowing us to do so. They would not work with us to allow us to adjust anything to try and make them happy. 

    We did everything we could to make them happy from the installation manager to the owner we all went out and tried to make them happy and they would not allow us to adjust anything after the install.

    We then explained we can stop the awning at 8 or 9 feet and we could give them money back because she ordered a 11 foot projection that was not good enough either.

    As explained to us the homeowner had many umbrellas and they did not work they would blow away and they where hard for her to use so this was her only option. 

    If **** was so concerned about any of this he should of been part of the 1st 3 visits when we went over all of this.

    We have many text messages from homeowner and our company and she contacted us to come back she had many other companies out but she like our sales guy.

    Same exact thing yes it rubbs but unfortunately there home has a very low roof and was explained to homeowner
