I am not a guy! I am ******** *******, on the contract, a female and the mother of the other person on the contract. This is most definitely my move! On a drop of a dime? I have been dealing with your lies for 7 weeks! This all started with your company 05/20/25. I was NEVER told you were a Broker! I was never told the original Binding Estimate would be almost TRIPLE in price! I was never told my furniture was going to be moved and held in a storage unit. I was told my belongings would be delivered 05/21/25 and they were not! I paid an additional $250 for this 2nd stop to happen same day as 1st stop. This didn't happen. Next day, I was told a 2nd truck would pick up 2nd stop. At this time, I was made to pay another $900 at pick up and charged another $900 at delivery, which was paid! I waited 3 weeks before a truck showed up with what we thought was all of our furniture. I was made to pay for ALL the furniture to be delivered BEFORE we could even see our furniture. The entire "2nd stop" furniture was not even on the truck as well as a 70" flat screen TV from the 1st stop. So I paid $2025 for this 2nd stop of furniture - pickup and delivery, Services NOT rendered! I have been told for the past 2 weeks the furniture was on a truck and would be delivered. Hasn't happened! I've been told for the past week that pictures of the "undelivered furniture" would be sent to verify it was ours, hasn't happened! Now when I call, they just place me on hold for 10 to 30 minutes before I hang up. Where are our belongings? We want our furniture that we have paid for and paid to be delivered. Has it been lost or stolen? You are passed the 30 business days your company says you have to deliver. Are we dealing with a theft here at this point? He told me they were resting that night and would get on the road by 9 AM and delivery would be b/t 3pm -5pm 05/21/25. That NEVER happened! They did not show up 05/21/2025! They did not answer calls or text. They didn't even pick up 2nd stop until the next day on a different truck and driver who demanded another $900 from a 3rd party who was just at the home of persons things in ***********, **. Blue Diamond told us how they do things, which is hold furniture until they have several deliveries on same route. . I was never told this nor did I agree to this!. A partial delivery was made 6/12/25 and I had another $2139.91 via Money Order as *** (Dispatch Supervisor) at Blue Diamond gave as only option, and unaware the second pickup not on the truck. I have paid a total of $6060.91 As of today 07/09/25 my sons 70 inch TV and the second load have not been delivered and both companies have stopped answering our calls. *** at Blue Diamond threatened bodily harm to my husband over the phone.Business Response

I am rejecting this response because: I have reached out multiple times prior to delivery and my messages were being read but going unanswered and completely ignored. I called and got sent multiple phone numbers to people who were giving me the run around and not returning my calls sometimes at all. I spoke with whom represented himself as the owner named *** who was very rude and showed no regard towards my concerns or complaints and even after agreeing to refunding me initially, went back on his word and blatantly said no and to take it or leave it. Even after advising him my items were broken and torn and just damaged (after upcharging me for specific things) I was not respected or accommodated at all. If he is the owner I will not keep calling to continuously be ignored seeing as he clarified everything goes through him. I just would like to be reimbursed and cover the damaged items seeing as that is what the company has insurance for.

****** ******s switched trucks and locations multiple times. The TVs that they charged me extra for were not in boxes at all and wrapped poorly, yet I paid extra for them. They instructed the 3rd party company to not unload my items without me paying the higher balance than initially agreed upon. I called the owner multiple times with this company sitting in the sun waiting on a confirmation. The owner simply said well your items are there now so youre wasting their time. I asked about the refund he promised and he said no and said they can just keep my items and leave if I did not pay. So instead of paying the original estimate price prior to moving of $1723 with a $724 deposit, I paid a remaining $1208 upon delivery with damaged items, unwrapped sofa which caused my cushions to tear, and broken nightstands. The damages cost more than what I ended up paying to the unprofessional company all together. Owner refuses to rectify the situation at all. I took big losses on my valuables.Business Response

We were left with only the minimal $0.60/lb protection, which is grossly inadequate to cover the damages and losses.When we attempted to reach out to Menards with our concerns and questions, their communication was delayed, unhelpful, and often dismissive. There was no follow-up or concern shown about the condition of our shipment or resolution of the issues.The companys contract includes intimidating and one-sided clauses, including waiving rights to trial by jury, forfeiture of deposit for speaking publicly (a gag clause), and denial of refund if service is declinedeven if problems arise. These terms are predatory designed to shield the company while silencing customer complaints.I was not given a clear or reasonable process to file a damage or loss claim, nor provided instructions or support on how to proceed.

Box 3,4 and 5 on the household goods list are missing, attached below. How am I to call when you dont even answer calls from my wifes 714 phone number. My wife who is unfamiliar with the state we moved to didnt have her bed, couch, her pots and pans, dishes, glasses, for Almost 2 months, and then to not deliver only her belongings is a suspicious and deliberate act. On May 8, 2025, a truck from ******************** (US*** #*******) arrived to deliver our remaining belongings. Despite previously being informed and contracted with Menards Moving & Storage, and having communicated directly with their dispatcher ***, **** Guys Movers insisted that payment must be made directly to themnot to Menardsbefore unloading.
Under duress and in order to recover our belongings, we agreed to pay $2,700, which exceeded the original quoted amount. We were told the delivery would not proceed otherwise.
Upon inspection of the truck and items, it was evident that the shipment was poorly packed, with boxes crushed, items disorganized, and numerous pieces visibly damagedincluding major scratches to furniture and boxes marked fragile appearing to have been mishandled. Additionally, we received items that were not ours, and several of our belongings were missing, including a furniture dolly and the glass shelves to our china hutch.
We have now submitted a formal compensation request to Menards Moving & Storage and are preparing to take further legal and consumer protection action, including escalating this matter to federal regulators and media outlets.
I have attached photographs of the truck upon arrival, damaged goods, and supporting documentation, including the *** number for the subcontracted mover.
This situation continues to demonstrate deceptive business practices and a lack of accountability on the part of Menards Moving & Storage and its subcontractors.e second half of my delivery is delayed, I have received no update, and Im being ignored.I filed an FMCSA complaint (ID #********** and am exploring further legal remedies. I am willing to pay the original amount, but I dispute any unauthorized charges due to their mishandling, overreach, and damage to my property.) This response grossly misrepresents the reality of my experience. The issue was never just a broken television. I am declining the proposed resolution because the delivery was incomplete, significant items remain undelivered, and the company is attempting to extort an additional funds beyond our agreed-upon amount before releasing my belongings.
Here is a summary of the serious and ongoing issues with Menards Moving & Storage and their associated carriers:
1. Incomplete Delivery: Only part of my items were delivered. The remaining portion is being held hostage while they continue to demand $3,300 up front via Zelle or cash, despite the fact that the original agreement did not include this amount. I have never signed or agreed in writing to this revised figure.
2. Improper Handling & Damages: Several items already delivered arrived damaged, including two dressers, an entertainment center, an office chair, and a broken glass desktop. This was not a professional deliverythe truck arrived with one person who required my assistance to unload. This was supposed to be a no-touch freight move.
3. Unprofessional & Threatening Behavior: The dispatcher (***) repeatedly pressured me to sign a new contract under duress and threatened that if I didnt agree, they could return my items to ****** or withhold delivery. Ive provided screenshots and transcriptions of these interactions.
4. Lack of Communication & Timeline Failures: I was told the remaining items would arrive on Sunday. Four days passed with no communication until I was suddenly given a 24-hour notice followed by a demand for payment again. This kind of manipulation is unacceptable.
5. Evidence of Bad Faith ******** Practices: They picked up all items from my storage unit, despite clear instructions to limit the move to only pre-agreed inventory. The extra items are being used as justification for these inflated fees. This was never authorized and is now being used against me.
6. Misleading BBB Reply: The company's reply here minimizes the situation, incorrectly claims everything went great, and attempts to shame me for filing a legitimate complaint rather than offering any genuine assistance.
This matter is about more than broken items. Its about incomplete delivery, unauthorized charges, intimidation, and abuse of business practices. I am prepared to submit evidence, including:
Photos of the damaged items
Screenshots of threatening texts and Zelle payment demands
Transcripts from recorded calls
Screenshots of the transcripted calls and the photos or beyond the allotted limit
And will have to be converted to .zip And can have them readily availableI should also add that I have also been contacted by another party claiming to be from a Wise guys. Movers and requesting I pay $3,825 who have sent me an actual bill of lading and have advised me to only pay them at the time of delivery, I'm prepared to show proof of the transcripted calls and the text messages received by them as well.
I respectfully request this complaint remain open and escalated as unresolved. I will also continue working with the *****, ************************* and law enforcement where necessary.
