      Contacted A plus moving & storage to move items in storage in Florida to Pennsylvania Agreed on price quote price paid $775 total like 1800 received call on 2nd inventory list , Paula did not do a accurate inventory, the still when up $200 now $2000 moving day comes. Actual mover Chris I paid what I thought was a $ 990 2nd payment gets to the unit in Venice Florida. Price goes up another $500.app$ 2575 After they loaded it driver Chris demanded a tip. That really piss me off.tell I can put it on cash app I'm in Pennsylvania. A friend was there on my behalf requested a Monday delivery do tight parking I received 6 hour notice on Friday Aug 4th 2023. The price when up another $200 to total Close to$ 2800. Balance to be paid in cash Then Chris does not have a copy rest of the paper to proper close account. I ask to have a copy mailed to me, never received paperwork Also documents sign internet were unable to be sign had me to voice over phone which I know I gave $990 amount only authorition to Paula this company need to be fully investigate never received proper pricing as you can see or paperwork that I I PAID CASH How convenient no PAPERWORK FOR CASH. PAYMENT also using lease trucks to run longer on high ways believe is only 10 hours road time Chris was only driver of 2 men sent. We'll I know for a fact there day was longer it took them 7 plus hours to get here and headed to New Jersey for next stop Just received my credit card they added 5% on that $990 total was 1039.50 PLEASE LOOK INTO THIS COMPANY.       COLLECTING PROPERTY On 2/16/23, 2 men came to collect my property for moving from TN to DC. I was quoted $3,775. They were not careful in handling my items - dropping heavy things inside the home I bought (which is now being rented out), even dropping an item ON MY FOOT, and leaving boxes of books out in the rain. They were rude and unprofessional, and I wish I had selected a different moving company. DELIVERING PROPERTY I called dispatch at 1-877-611-6684 on 3/28/23, to schedule delivery. I was told by Philip J**** (general manager) that he needed the address and "first available date" (FAD) for delivery, which is 4/29/23. I emailed him everything and was told over the phone that the delivery "ETA window" depended on how many miles the move was. He told me that the window was 5 days for a 500-mile move, 10 days for 500-1500 miles, and 15 days for 1500+ miles. Since my move was less than 1500 miles, I expected they would adhere to a 10-day window. I called Phil today to 1) confirm the date, 2) they had the correct address and 3) to ensure they would not deliver my property during a time I'd be out for a funeral 5/6-8. It concerned me that they still had CA as the destination & he denied the delivery ETA windows, but claimed he had the corrected DC address on file. He was extremely rude to me when I brought up having to avoid delivery 5/6-8 and wanted me to move my FAD to after 5/8, which I did not want to do. He then clarified that "first available date" meant the first date my property could be taken out of storage and loaded onto a delivery truck. Based on that, I said I wanted to move my FAD to today, and he hung up on me several times in anger, without guaranteeing anything. He said he would call me back later today with more information, but I am very worried my property will not be delivered, based on his rudeness with me and the other complaints filed here. I just want my things to be delivered BEFORE May 6.
