Quote Q125173 / *******************************/ Date: 7/29/2022 Total $4250.00 / Deposit/check given $2125.00 On 7/29/2022, my husband, *******************************, visited General Impact Windows and Doors located at *************************************************** and was assisted by salesperson on site, *****, who took his order onsite. The order was for double aluminum impact residential front doors with glass interlayer and iron decoration. ******************************* chose one of the model doors on display there which didn't have a clear glass. ***** didn't mention anything nor explain options for the type of door glass and he assumed it would be frosted or not-see-through since these were front doors for our house. He was quoted timing of 16 to 20 weeks for completion (on page 4 of contract). He gave a deposit check for $2125.00 as indicated above payable to General Impact ****************************** and was cashed by them. Must mention that ***************************** another sales person on site corresponded with my husband via WhatsApp to complete the doors style selection and he requested for the deposit to be Zelle to his cell number (see copy of text attached reflecting this). ******* opted to write a check to the company. In late December, 2022, we emailed *********************** regarding status of order but didn't get a response. On 1/31/23 we emailed him asking for a refund of our deposit or to please provide an estimated date of door installation. On 2/2/23 I called General Impact Windows and Doors and left message with receptionist, she then indicated ***** didn't work for them but own his own company (???). Afterwards the same day we received a text from ***** indicating the doors would be delivered on Monday, 2/6/23. On 2/6/23 the doors were delivered to our house but we noted the glass on doors was completely clear and the second door was missing the holes for the dummy k*** We called him several time while doors waiting delivery at our home in order to discuss options but he never answered. The delivery crew also called him and there was no response. We didn't take delivery of the doors since the product was not as expected/ordered. *********************** responded on 2/13/23 a few days letter via text saying the contract indicated "clear" and we had two options: ordered privacy glass for doors or get a professional company to tint the glass on doors. However, he didn't provide a price to install the privacy glass. We emailed him on 2/12/23 & 2/13/23 indicating he didn't give us a cost/price for the installation of the privacy glass nor timing to get those replaced and gave him the authorization to install existing doors as is to avoid more delays. Since then we have send *********************** two more follow up emails, left him a voice message and a text and have received no courtesy response to any of them. On 2/22/23 I called General Impact Windows and Doors located in ******* and explained situation in detail and left message with receptionist to have their General Manager please call us to discuss situation. We would appreciate assistance to resolve this issue. Thanks so much.***************************** ************ ******************************* ************
