Forest Hills Utilities sent us a final invoice 4/01/2023 as they were closing operations. I was overbilled and ended up receiving notice they owed me a $25.37 refund.I emailed the email address on their invoice on 9/9/2023 and as of today, 10/3/2023 still have not heard back. I tried calling today to find the only listed number is now disconnected.In prior interactions we had communications issues and billing delays with them, so this failure doesn't surprise me. The principle of the matter is they overbilled and didn't return the overpayment. Good faith violation and bad company management.Initial Complaint

On April 1, 2023 I received a bill for undisclosed service. Forest Hills Utilities does hold the account for street light service which I have paid promptly every quarter and have cancelled checks for as evidence. I have emailed ***** twice, sent a letter via postal service twice and called the office twice leaving a message both times. There is threat of a lien for no payment is received by September 25, 2023. The house is a rental and has never authorized any service except for street lights. I have attempted to contact Forest Hill utilities for 3 months phone rings busy 24/7. In addition in the past 4 yrs I have not had trash service we agreed in April of 2021 for me to pay only street light fees. They have just now sent me bill for 1st time and it is dated 4-1-23 but arrived in mail 8/23/23. They are requesting over 1k and threatening lies on house yet have never sent bill. Prior to this past year I have made over 15 attempts to contact and even sent letter with no reply. Terrible business ethics. Please help us correct this corruption!Initial Complaint

I was a customer of ********************** not by choice, but because they had a contract with the area of the property, I purchased in 2009. I sold those properties in 2021. On 5/7/23 they sent a bill to my deceased father at his address (we have similar names, I'm a Jr.) for $100.14.Forest Hills is not picking up the call or returning emails. I've called multiple days and sent many email. When I called the company that actually picks up the trash - they said they couldn't do anything about it. I sold a house at **************************************************************** in July of 2021. To this date, after calling and writing several times, Forest Hills Utilities continues to bill me for the quarterly street light and I am so tired of getting these bills!!! I have notified them several times of the new owner and her name and address but I continue to get these bills for a property I haven't owned in over a year. I just today, 12/13/22, got another one. Their bill is for street lights only every quarter and the new owner must not use them for her trash services like I did. The new trash company needs to bill her for the street light, not me. I bought this house 9/4/20. I set up garbage service with Waste Connections. I paid them and received service for 18 months. They cut me off. I called, only to find that THEY were audited & found erroneous in setting my service up, that I must pay ***. I put a prorated payment into the *** slot with proof of having paid Waste Connections. *** never cashed it. Am I to pay the *** accumulated bill when I've already paid directly to the provider? Hello,approximately 3 years ago I went to borrow money on my home and found out there was a lien on the property by Forest Hills Utility. My wife and I brought them proof of payment and they would not remove the lien. We are now receiving bills saying we have not paid and my wife has made dozens of phone calls, office visits, etc. to no avail. I am 100% convinced after reading your investigations and looking at the complaints on the BBB that this is an illegal scam. For the first time in the nearly 3 years I've lived in the Forest Hills community of Holiday FL I received a bill from "Forest Hills Utilities Inc.". I've never heard of them and have never done business with them nor received any kind of services from them. I received a bill from Forest Utilities asking me for payment when I did not request services. No response from the corporation and I see there are multiple other complaints of the same nature
