    Never Ever would I hire this company again!! Not once was I told of any up charges on anything!!! It was like I was his guys boss because *** NEVER came to the job site while the home was being built to offer any suggestions to me!!! Quote for wiring my 840sq.ft. home went up $4k & I was NEVER advised of it until they sent my final invoice!!! DO NOT hire J I M S Electric from ******************* because in my opinion,hes not honest or professional!! It was a disaster dealing with them!!!

    This customer's review comes close to a year after the job was completed.**************** was supposed to hire a contractor to coordinate his build of a new home, instead he did it himself and is now blaming others for his lack of knowledge in the construction industry.There were NO up charges.We provided a clear estimate on work to be done and as common sense and any contractor would advise, anything you add will cost extra. ACTUAL PROPOSED WORK PRICE: $6,870.00 INCLUDED:*This price will cover wiring the house with panel and meter, and the power to the island because it is code but not on plans and the conduit under the slab to re-feed the existing panel.We do not furnish all fixtures not including recess lighting as we furnish them. We wire the exhaust fan but do not install or furnish as usually the a/c people do that. We do not furnish the range hood, but will install it. This also DOESN'T include connection to utility as we don't know how this will be placed at this point. *Temp power connection.The Extras EXTRA 8-14-23 Generator interlock and 30 amp connection.EXTRA 7-18-23 Floor Box Repairs - damaged by concrete guys EXTRA 6-9-23 Ran wire to add (5) receptacles. (4) for TV's and (1) for attic.EXTRA 6-5-23 Ran wire for microwave and cut into panel.EXTRA 5-9-23 Ran wire and installed pancake box for ceiling fan on back porch.EXTRA 3-15-23 Repair broken pipe and pull new wire for septic tank EXTRA Connection to utility We usually do a house in 4 to 5 trips in total, 2-3 for rough and 1-2 for trim. Seven EXTRA trips not counting the ones we did not charge him for.His house is a 45 minute drive each way from our shop, gas is not free.**************** is the one not being honest.
