    I contract the services of *********************************** true his company USA PATIO CONSTRUCCION INC. We sign a contract for the installation of a 40feet x 12feet terrace and the removal of the pre-existing roof(terrace). I paid up front 50% of the total job price as a requirement of the contract. After the payment was done, the contractor become a totally different person than he was with me and my wife during prior days of contract signed. He verbally promised me that the terrace will be completed in between two to tree weeks after the contract was signed. He told me the legalization of the pool deck will be including in the total work of the terrace. After the two week arrive and no draw(blueprints) or permit was done, I call him asking for some result. I got referred from him to a company that take care of permits and legal stuf with the county and they have been very professional and efficient. ******* rarely does he answer the phone. Always give me the excuses that he don't have cell phone signal. I let him know by text and on the phone my concern many time, and I actually at March 20, 2024, by text message and phone call, I ask him to give me my money back do to a lack of transparency and total ignorance of my concern. He refused to return the money saying that he already at that time spent some money in engineering and materials. In order to get the Blueprint approve and get the permit approved, we had to reduce the size of the terrace, a size that is not the one that we agree in the contract. May 13, 2024, I call ******* to let him know that the permits was already approve, no answer. I sent him some text and he call me back. He said, that he just start a job in ********** that he have to complete by Friday May 17, 2024. After that he will return to ***** and can start my terrace. May *********************************************************************************** he will finish those projects by the end of may. Still today, No Materials or Job Done in my House.
