This company originally towed my vehicle on 08/19 (according to them) after being called and incorrectly told that it was abandoned. Which I understand has nothing to do with the company. But since then I have been struggling to get my vehicle back from this company. To start from the beginning, I originally called to see about getting my vehicle returned to me. It doesn't run, but I had asked him to tow it to a public place ********* so that I could fix it in the parking lot (it just needs a battery and gas) and then drive it home and sell it, he told me he couldn't tow it here(maybe true I'm not sure). So then I had told him I could have it towed to a friends house as I had their consent. He agreed, but then stated he wasn't able to get my vehicle out of his yard. So I decided I needed to see for myself, here comes the real issues, his actual business is not located where it is listed online, that is the owners personal house. When I called to question he said to meet him there and to then follow him to his business, which I did, upon arriving I found the yard to just be an empty lot full of loose, rusting metal, along with maybe maximum 10 vehicles, and my vehicle blocked in by 3 other vehicles. Long story short he said he couldn't get it out same day as there wasn't enough time left in the day. So I paid him 100 dollars down with 190 left to be paid after it is towed. It has now been a week since that amount was paid and he is still giving excuses. Saying that the hydraulics on his machine broke so he couldn't tow it, and is now saying he needs at least two more days and I need to just wait or I can have my money back... I don't want my money back as my vehicle is worth much more and I intend to sell it. So I need help in giving him a push to get my vehicle back. Also to report his business as I don't feel what he is doing is legal.
