      We hired *** home improvement to do our damage repairs from Hurricane ******. They have done other work in our park that had no complaints. They seemed honest, they've been in business 25 yrs. And is family owned. We signed our contract on or around March 14, 2025 and work started not long after that. They worked 4 days and then went on a cruise, we were very understanding as it's been extremely busy since the hurricane. We generally only had 1 worker at a time, they have started a lot but have not completed one thing. We had to purchase flooring, tiles, light fixtures, faucets, cupboard knobs/pulls, appliances, toilets. They are responsible for labor, insulation, paint, floor molding, drywall,cupboards, counters, wanescoating in ******* room. About 3 wks ago ,the guys left for the day and never returned. They don't return phone calls, text messages and their website has been taken down. Other people in our park are having the same issue, just not to our magnitude. We went by their payment schedule and so we've paid it all but final $1000. We don't know what to do, our money is gone and our house is barely liveable. Please help us!

      After hurricane ****** damage the house, we were looking for a company to hire to help put it back together, we got a qoute from ***, they required me to pay ******* to hold our spot, I kept in contact the whole time as I am trying to get the house back to normal, we have now been told by elevate Florida it will be atleat 24 months, so I asked her to return my deposit since it won't be anytime soon and they didn't start any work, I even offered her to keep a portion of it for the headache. She said she won't refund the deposit. No where in any of the paperwork or communication did she say she was gonna keep the deposit.

      My original contract with SMZ Home Solutions was 10/01/2024, it was later updated to include additional work. In February they came and did two days installing wall boards. A request for $6,000 was made which I paid and have receipt for. Now the contractor is telling me they can not get more wall boards. I understand that may be true but there is other work to complete such as trimming the boards they've put up, install half the flood vents, install insulation (which is here), install two base cabinets and sinks. There is two days work for 2 men here. I have called and text ******* Zioba numerous times with no reply. I just want some evidence that they have an intension to finish here.ALSO. I am having trouble uploading my documents and am going to attempt to send them to you in a separate Email.

      This clients original contract was signed in October, however we did have to wait for her electrician to complete his work. When the client notified us of this work being complete we had to come do another estimate to add work/change work. We began hanging her paneling and completed as much work as possible until we ran out of material. The paneling we were using was unavailable at all local stores. We alerted the client of this and explained that we would resume work as soon as materials became available. Once materials were available we scheduled to come back the following week. The project is almost finished and will be completed early next week.
