    Hernando ********************** offered his services as a handyman outside of ***********************. We hired him to install a luxury vinyl floor started on 8/7/23. In his contract he offered a 1 year warranty for the services. Theres issues with the floor installation: uneven, loose planks,corners or end lifts up, nails sticking out. ******** was aware of this since the date he finished the job on 8/22/23. Since then we have contacted him several times and he always failed to keep his promises that he will provide us with a solution to fix the floor issues; on November 15 he told us that he will contact us on Tuesday 11/21 or Wednesday 11/22 to let us know what day the following week he will be coming to do the work, but he has never contacted us. Other times he has stated that the sub floor was uneven and this is the reason for the problem. However, in the middle of the work being done he requested an extra $600 to level the rooms, we agreed to pay him so that he will not claim later that the reason for which he would not back up for the warranty was because we had refused to pay him the extra $600 to level the floor. He agreed to sand the uneven parts and there wont be any extra charge after that. Once the floor installation was finished and the above problems were noted he said to give the floor time to settle or that the weather will change and that will settle the floor or fix the problem, but this has not happened. We paid Mr. ********************** as per the contract, we are expecting him to give us a solution to fix the floor. Were requesting a refund of $1,000 for the extra money he charged us, the loss of material and the poor job he did on the installation of the floor in our house. Weve been fair waiting and asking ******** to fix the floor issues but there seems to be no willingness on his part to remedy the problem. When we hired him he told us he had recently moved to ****** ***** from *******, but now we see him advertising on ******** his work in *****, *******.
