    I attempted to purchase a building from the business in July 2024 however I was having trouble getting the site prepared - in October I inquired about possible cancellation but never confirmed- in February 2025 received a text that I needed to get delivery setup or prices were going up so I called and arranged delivery at beginning of February- waited probably 3 weeks to find out according to one place it was a contract issue and the other place said the company I went through had cancelled back in October- I was financing the rough RTO and went through Florida Storage professionals- the contract said if I cancelled I wouldnt receive my deposit but Im not the one who cancelled- so now I either loose my deposit or spend more money to get the building- I never received any communication about a contract expiring- the building be actually cancelled just am getting the run around- I feel I should receive my deposit back

    **** ****** is correct. Here deposit is non refundable because it is paid to process her order and order supplies. This was explained to her multiple times and also written in a legal, binding, contract and signed by **** ******* This document is attached. Her receipt also states that the deposit is used to process and non refundable once the order was processed which was also signed and date by **** ******* I have not attached that document because I do not expose customer financials to the public. **** ****** not only had us revise her order and re process it multiple times over a year, which I waived a $50 fee for her to do which is company policy, but she also financed the building multiple times. I am not the financial institution in which she borrow money from, therefore I am not at ******* to cancel her contract. Her financial contract once canceled because, written in the contract and signed by **** ******, it states she has 90 days to receive the building or funding will have to be applied for again. I have attached the history of her finance contract which ****** states who canceled it and is clearly shown it was neither me nor my company. Her order remains open in our system but in order for her to borrow money again after over a year,  she needs to re-apply for funding through the third party she received funding from in the beginning. I understand she is a first time home buyer and accessor structure buyer, which is  why I have walked her through the process almost daily for over a year. Here deposit, again clearly stated multiple times and signed for as per Florida law, will not be refunded but we are more than happy to continue her project once she contacts her lending company or is able to pay for the building.     I am not ************* my last name is ****** and I have never asked them to change my order but only had a hard time getting the site prep done- I did inquire about possibly canceling but never confirmed-the refund policy per the contract says if the customer cancels- which I did not do- I understand it took a while to get it setup but I did schedule it to be completed when I received a message that if I didnt do it before March the price would go up and I scheduled it in February around three weeks prior only to find out that one place said the contract expired and another says the company I ordered it through canceled the contract- I got nothing but a run around and people whole do not have good customer service skills cussing at me

    The order has not been canceled. The financing has been canceled. The order is still in hold status waiting for the customer to  tell us she is ready for install. Once again, as stated about 14 times, if she would like to finance the building, that is between here and the financial institution, as far as my company, her building status is on hold per site prep. I believe the confusion  may be that me and the bank are the same people. We are not. I sell buildings that are installed by the factory I sell for. I do not do direct loans. I can help her with someone who does but that is not my company. That is a financial lender. I do not finance directly to customers.

    I am rejecting this response because:
    The finance company is the one saying the building company (Florida Storage Professional) instructed them to cancel back in October- the only way for me to continue is to pay more money and that isnt fair so since I didnt ask for it to be cancelled I believe I should be refunded my deposit- I did what was asked of me to setup delivery prior to March so that I could avoid having to pay more only to find out all this other stuff listed in my initial statement- all I have experienced is poor customer service.

    The process was explained and written in legal binding contracts over the course of a year. Misunderstanding a legal contract is not a reason for a refund. This matter has been treated fairly and in accordance to Florida law.
