Pattern of Complaints

According to information in BBB files, Lickety Split AC, Plumbing & Electric has a pattern of complaint alleging Sales and Billing issues. 


Specifically, Consumers allege they contract with Lickety Split for AC Services only to be informed they needed extra services that they later discovered were unnecessary.  They are asked to sign on a tablet without knowing what they are signing and do not receive any physical documentation. Consumers have also reported being unable to receive a copy of their contract when requested.   


On May 23rd, 2025, BBB sent correspondence to Lickety Split AC, Plumbing & Electric to request their voluntary cooperation in eliminating the pattern of complaint.


Lickety Split AC, Plumbing & Electric responded with the following information as a means to eliminate the pattern of complaint:


We want to make it absolutely clear: we never perform work without full pricing transparency and explicit customer approval. Prior to any work being started, customers receive a detailed breakdown of the services, and are required to sign multiple documents, including:



Invoice and scope of work

Contract

Financing documents (when applicable)

Notice of Commencement (for permitted jobs)





At every step, customers are given the opportunity to review and walk away before work begins. Nothing proceeds without documented consent.



In fact, every customer interaction in the home is recorded live using AI-powered transcription through Rilla. This gives us an exact, time-stamped transcript of what was said, what was offered, and what was approved.
