- Additional Info:It has come to our attention that the owner of Future Financial Direct, Mr. Curtis Wood, has started a new business called "Better Settlement Bureau." The Better Settlement Bureau purports to be a business membership organization designed to provide impartial information on debt management companies such as Future Financial Direct. In fact, Future Financial Direct is allegedly a member of Mr. wood's new business. The Council of Better Business Bureaus, Inc., owner of the federally registered trademark BETTER BUSINESS BUREAU, has sent Mr. Woods a cease and desist letter regarding use of the name Better Settlement Bureau for the provision of business information services inasmuch as this name used for its purported purpose is confusingly similar to BETTER BUSINESS BUREAU and accordingly constitutes trademark infringement.
