On its website, the business states "Our work is backed by a 10-year extended warranty on equipment and repair." According to the BBB Code of Advertising, when using the term warranty in product advertising, the advertiser must clearly and conspicuously include a statement that the complete details of the warranty can be seen prior to sale at the advertiser's location or viewed on the advertiser’s website. Any material limitations or conditions that apply to the warranty must be clearly and conspicuously disclosed. BBB requested that the business add the terms of its warranty to its advertising, but did not receive a response.
The statement "Studies show that with regular tune-ups, a unit will maintain up to 95% of its original efficiency" also appears at the company's website. Claims relating to performance, energy savings, safety, efficacy or results for a product or service should be based on recent and competent testing or other objective data. The business did not respond to BBB's request that it provide substantiation for this claim.
