    In October and November 2023, we are working in the installation of kitchen cabinets. but we cannot agree on the design, therefore we have no final agreement yet. We have paid them as follows: 10/8 1550.00 11/1 7954.10 11/2 4378.38 Total of 13,882.48 .

    Since we cannot reach to a final agreement and hard to communicate with them because they never return our call, we decided to cancel this transaction.

    They made several promised that they will credit my ATM card for the refund but they never did.

    The Colocar kitchen cabinet replacement job has been a unique experience, to put it nicely, that began in September 2023.  As with every customer, we began the relationship with a retainer binder, physically went to their home to measure, produced CAD renderings, and presented the customer with multiple layouts of their project.

     

    During this time, we met with the customer and her father on several occasions, presented several revisions, of which she expressed her satisfaction and desire to move forward with ordering the kitchen cabinet replacement job.

     

    As a favor to the customer, we reserved the needed cabinets with our manufacturer, and we paid the manufacturer for the cabinets.

     

    Out of the blue, we got a message from the customer stating that she did not want to move forward with the job any longer and that she wanted a refund. 

     

    As with all custom orders, a refund is not something we offer. 

     

    Due to the circumstances of her father being disabled, and since he funded the job, we took an unrequired step and contacted the cabinet manufacturer to see if by any chance they would allow us to cancel the special-order job and refund our money. 

     

    As you can imagine, this did not happen immediately as we are dealing with a cabinet factory in China! 

     

    Please see the attached emails that explain the dealings with the manufacturer and the explanation to the customer.

     

    Attached, you will also find screenshots showing the months of communication with the customer and all the work we put in on this job, only to have them pull the plug.

     

    Long story short, I have NOT received any money back from the manufacturer... however, I have already refunded the customer, in-full, for their special-order cabinets (see attached). 

     

    Please let me know if there are any loose endsI have missed as this transaction is closed on my end.
