    On 01/19/2023 Buddy's Screens installed a new screen door on my screen porch for $200. Before the installers left, I asked why the door didn't close all the way and I was told the rubber seal at the bottom would need to wear down a bit and then it would close perfectly.

    I contacted Buddy's to let them know the door still did not close.

    On 03/10/23 I contacted Buddy's for the 2nd time to let them know the door still does not close.

    On 04/18/23 I contacted Buddy's for the 3rd time to let them know the door still does not close.

    Each time, I received an apology and a promise that someone would come to my home to put the door in correct working order but to date no one has been here to do so.

    I don't think it's unreasonable to expect a screen door to close slowly and all the way until it latches. It's probably a minor adjustment and a screw here or there but I cannot get Buddy's to take responsibility even though the installers assured me the door carried a one year warranty.

    **** **** is right. She did call us and I did assign the original installer to take care of the problem. I found out he gave it to someone else to do but the second worker was doing something else at the time and somehow it got overlooked.

    I am sending a worker today to fix the problem. I will call **** **** today and let her know someone will be there to take care of it.

    I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********* and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me. 





    Not expecting a response, we had just fixed/rigged the door ourselves to the best of our ability.

    However, yesterday a much more honest, knowledgeable representative of Buddy’s came and made additional adjustments to the screen door and explained everything making the door  completely acceptable under the circumstances.

    I am most appreciative of the response from this business.
