      My husband went to Hearing Masters. He tried a set of hearing aids for about a month but ultimately returned them because they werent the right fit for him. But during this trial period, Hearing Masters took down my husbands insurance information, just to check your benefits . Turns out that they actually turned in a claim for the hearing aids he returned. He did not purchase anything from them so the claim was filed illegally. Hearing Masters got a check from the insurance company for $2,000. This is the full benefit my husband has for hearing aids. We contacted the insurance company in a conference call with Hearing Masters. He said yes the hearing aids were returned and said he would repay the benefit to the insurance company. This was in December 2023.It is now March 25th, and my husband went to a doctor for full hearing testing. They checked his benefits and guess what, HEARING MASTERS NEVER REPAID THE INSURANCE COMPANY FOR THE CLAIM THEY FILED FRAUDULENTLY. So I strongly recommend you find somewhere else to get hearing aids. We have opened an insurance fraud case. Hope this isnt a regular scam that they pull.
