    I began a transaction with ********* **** in ********, ** who turned it over to Guardian Legal Processing, ******************************************************* on 2/10/2022. I paid a fee of $750 and making payments of ****** months until Nov. 2023 when they stopped taking payment. My bank card had been compromised so I called to give them the new card # and haven't been able to get contact since. In the beginning I was getting good response and told they were working with my credit card company to get debt resolved & not to ************, I'm more than worried and have health issues at 81 and not suppose to get stressed. Now the MI Dept. of Treasury is taking my tax refund to put toward this debt. I want help in getting them to contact me or find out if I was scammed. Can you help me?

    We are so thankful for BBB's support here.  Somehow we lost the last digit of ****************** phone number and we did not have an active email for her.  But because she was able to reach out to your team, we were able to see our incorrect contact info and reached out to her immediately (after correcting the items in our system).

    Based on our conversation where we updated ******************* on her current status, we are back on the same page and working diligently, together, to achieve the goals ****************** set when she employed us.

    This is a credit reduction company.It failed to clear any debt and can not be reached now. All phone contacts go unanswered.

    Good afternoon!

    Our client, *********************, hired ** in November ********************* negotiating settlement terms with her existing high balance creditor, Discover with a balance of $13,000.  Since our employment by *****, she has made deposits into her account, held in trust by our firm, every month since Nov 2021 and we have been in constant contact with her. ********************* was advised, prior to her hiring us, that we made no guarantees of success and that based on the small monthly deposits she was making, it would take some time to build up enough money in her account before we could engage discover in a good faith attempt to resolve the debt for less than the full balance. 

    We received a call from the BBB representative regarding this complaint and we immediately conferenced in ********************* by reaching her at the same phone number we have used to communicate with her monthly since 11/21.

    Our records reflect speaking with ********************* on March 14, 2024, to go over the options available to her at that time and then the following week she filed this complaint.

    Since the call with the BBB and at the direction of our Client, we have refunded ************************* funds held in trust to her and by mutual agreement our services to her have ended.

    I reject the business response because No one from this company contacted **** contacted them several times but received no response from them.******** finally responded and said they would refund my money but did not do so.The amount is over $7000 but I doubt I ever receive it. They do not do any services that they claim nor have they contacted my debtor. They claim to be a debt reduction company but do nothing to help.I have been taken to court over the debt they were to negotiate and now have to pay an extra $4000. Plus my bank account has been garnished. They are a fraudulent company.

    Hello!

    As ***** stated in her "rejection", we did speak with her to confirm she wanted to cancel our services and receive a refund.  Per that conversation we sent her the refund check which she cashed the day after her "rejection".  We followed up  again with her, after we were notified of her "rejection", to go over the terms of the her hiring us, the fees we earned per that employment and to confirm she received the agreed refund amount due.  She agreed on the call and we thanked her for the opportunity to try to assist. her.

    I finally accepted a refund of $2500 because it is useless in dealing with them.I paid them over $7000 but they have excuses for not returning that amount. This is a business I will never consider again! I cancelled  all agreements with them permanently.

    I went through this debt relief *** on 7/02/2020. I have been paying them ****** every month till Nov. 01. 2023. They did not take the planned payment on the 1st. So I called and have always got an answer till now. I called one of my credit cards, one is payed off and one will not tell me the current balance. And I haven' t called the other one yet. But what is going on. I have been calling since November and no answer. They stopped taking payments from my bank I want too know if the debt was resolved. No information has been sent too me and whe I contacted the office number in ******* the secretary informed me they are no longer at the location.

    Hello!

    I apologize for what appears to be a late response from our team here.

    We have been in constant contact with ************* since she hired ** in July of 2020.

    When we received the complaint, ******, ************************** Case Manager, immediately reconnected with ************* to remind her of our communication throughout our employment by her.  We revisited the details of the program she hired us to assist her with and we appear to be back on the same page.

    We offered her a refund of her monies and to end our employment, but she refused and insisted we stay on with her to help her finish the program.  She apologized to ****** and our team for filing the complaint and said that due to her poor health and financial woes she was confused and felt helpless.

    We are thankful for the BBB being there for ************* and providing this platform for us to reconnect and recalibrate our efforts on behalf of the ***********.
