      I have attached the contract for what it was offered. We paid the total amount of $950 with Credit card back in August 2nd 2023 for a health and wellness networking event that was supposed to happen in November then in February 2024 and never happened. This event was moved 2 times and ended up not happening at all. We contacted the organizer and he promised a refund but never did or call back. We opened our Business back in June 2023 and thought this was a great opportunity to network and give our business some exposure. As every business that is starting our budget was very limited. I used a credit card to pay for this event and trusted this company. I just need my hard worked money back.

      We talked the other day about the letter you sent asking for a response about the refund promised to Ms. *********

       

      As mentioned, when we rescheduled the event several of those who had signed on requested a refund also. 

       

      As the money collected was used for marketing and non-refundable deposits on the venue and other expenses associated with putting on the event, we did not have enough funds available to refund all those who requested their money be returned right away. We have been gradually making refunds to the other companies and Ms ******** was the last on the list. 

      I spoke to her manager **** several times and informed him that we are slowly getting things back on track and will resolve the issue very soon.

       

      We will be refunding her money within the next week and will reach out to you to let you know that it is done.

      I am rejecting this response because: This company should not be using or counting on other businesses funds to do business. This company invested other companies money without consent.  What I understand for his response is that he created an event in his mind and started selling it then paid the venue with our money.  There were sponsorships that cost 25,000. He keeps offering these events everywhere and this should not be happening to any other businesses.  Why is my business the last of the list? A list shouldn't  even exist. Our money should be placed in a escrow account and be protected just in case something happen. The company  should have their own money to invest in the Venues.  He called our office and promised to stop by with the Money Wednesday 17th and as always he didn't showed up. I want my Money back now. It has been months and wasn't asked to borrow money to pay a venue. I was sold  an event that already had a venue.
