We took *** ******** Quick Start Real estate course in January 2023 for $897. It required more "education" in order to succeed. We bought the master's program for $17,900 and then were later convinced to invest another $15,000 into a mentoring program, another $1000 into a foreclosure program and then we invested over $10,000 into legal, software, lead generation, Virtual assistant services, website, and phone services, all partners, affiliates and/or referrals of *** *******/Global Publishing. The promise was that all these tools would give you everything you'd need to setup and run a successful real estate business. However, we find out during the training that his strategies are downright unethical/immoral and some require breaking and/or bending laws, like putting up bandit signs and unethically wrapping mortgages. His entire strategy is based on preying upon distressed/desperate homeowners to sell their homes under "terms". Besides the abysmal % willing to do this (we had NO deals in 4 months of trying, making hundreds of calls), no real estate lawyer wanted to touch this saying it was not legit and that triggering due on sale clauses is risky/unethical business. Ron's solution to due on sale clauses was to simply just take it up in court if it happened like it's no big deal. When it comes to selling these houses to a "tenant buyer", you again make the buyers partake in predator like contracts where they must put a large (5-10% of house price) NON-REFUNDABLE deposit down and then pay above market rent prices to get the house that they have the option to buy within 2 years. Ron boasts that most (90%) of the tenant buyers won't buy the house and will lose their deposit and then you just get another tenant buyer and do it again And he promises its all good and legal with his genius contracts he's put together. He's promoting preying on hard working people but claims he's actually helping them be able to buy a house b/c they can't qualify with a bank.

Date of purchase: 5/9 Amount: Around $25k ****** *****, a salesperson for *** ********* Global Publishing, pushed me into buying their mentorship program after I told him I was recovering from head injuries. He told me clients tend to make $10k+ within thirty days as well. Then he told me after I was in the program that I wouldn't get guidance from a mentor until another 30 days into the program. It was another week after that. The practices they finally revealed were really risky. They then suggested that I get a house under contract first, then lie to people who needed apartments saying that I had an affordable place to stay. Then you get the people who need apartments to tour the house before hard selling them into a 10% deposit. I would ruin my reputation if not my life generally doing that. And they don't tell you you need to get the house under contract and stage and show it until months into the "mentorship." When I realized that I had to sign the contracts myself, I also realized it was time to get out of the program. I thought I would be flipping houses for like a commission.

I am rejecting this response because:

    Dear BBB:

    Thank you for your email.

I told their salesperson that I had a head injury and was having difficulty understanding things.

He also lied about the monthly payment I would be making and when I had to make them.
