Thank you for being a wonderful client and taking time from your day to write a positive review. I think it's important to mention that when you started with us you were very skeptical we could turn the lawn around. Yesterday you were awarded "Lawn of the Month" for your neighborhood!Review fromJoshua H

No pride in results. My yard got way worse after hiring this company and when I brought this to their attention the take no accountability or even have anyone with the knowledge on how to rectify the situation.North Florida Lawn and Pest

**** you for your feedback. While we are disappointed to hear you were unsatisfied with the condition of your lawn, wed like to provide clarification on the situation. Our technicians and manager made multiple documented visits to your property and consistently noted that improper irrigation was contributing to turf decline. We also advised that portions of the lawn would require renovation due to underlying issues. We remain open and willing to provide in-person consultations and guidance to help you achieve a healthy lawn. We encourage our clients to work with us directly so we can find a path forward together. If you'd like to schedule a follow-up or speak with a manager, please contact our office at your convenience.Review fromVictor F

BE FOREWARNED: I contracted with North Florida Lawn & Pest for lawn & tree/shrub service and paid in advance for the year. They treated my lawn 5 times and, during two of those visits, treated trees/shrubs. Not all that pleased with the results, I called and cancelled the contract and asked for a refund of the balance.
Seven weeks and five calls later and lots of excuses (e.g., manager is out sick, need to follow up on it for you, the refund is in process for issuance, let me check with the manager) I finally receive a refund BUT the refund check was for only $105.50, instead of the $343 remaining in my account.
I seldom go to the trouble of writing an online review, but this time I feel compelled to express my displeasure with this company. I wish I hadn't paid the year in advance. They offer a small discount for prepaying, but this saga concerning the refund of my balance has caused me to seriously reconsider ever prepaying anything ever again.North Florida Lawn and Pest

Hi ****** ******* Thank you for your feedback. Were truly sorry to hear that your experience did not meet your expectations, and we appreciate the opportunity to address your concerns. When clients choose to prepay for the year, we provide a discount in appreciation of that commitment. As is outlined in our agreement and explained at the time of cancellation, early termination of a prepaid plan results in that discount being removed from the remaining balance. In your case, after adjusting for the applied prepay discount, the correct refund amount was $145.50, which we processed and issued. We understand that delays in communication only added to your frustration, and for that we sincerely apologize. That said, wed love the opportunity to make this right. If you'd prefer to reinstate your original prepay plan, wed be happy to honor the full value of the remaining services you signed up for and provide the same attentive service we strive to offer every client. Please feel free to reach out directlywe're here to help.Sincerely,The North Florida *********** TeamReview fromRohini R

I have had with the lawn service provided by North Florida Lawn. Despite my repeated attempts to address the issues faced with my lawn, I have been met with significant challenges.Since August 1st, I have been expressing my concerns regarding the deteriorating condition of my lawn after the application of the chemicals. I have shared pictures illustrating the damage caused, highlighting the burning of the grass due to the products used.Regrettably, I have made multiple requests for the cancellation of the service, yet the charges have continued to be debited from my card. Today, upon further inquiry, I was informed of a 30-day cancellation fee, despite my requests dating back to August. Please dont use North Florida Lawn. I have pictures of anyone would like to see the results.North Florida Lawn and Pest

Good morning - We met with you today and have scheduled manager services to help address the concerns you mentioned. We were turned away multiple times at the gate previously also. But we spoke directly with you and our understanding was that were had agreed 'in person' to help with the lawn. If this is incorrect please contact our office and ask for *******.Review fromMr. Dennis W

******* is very unprofessional, very dishonest, and lacks customer service ethics. This company states in their literature We strive to always do the right thing. We understand that as a home owner, or business, you have choices. Thats why North Florida *********** will not only work hard to earn your business, but well always do the right thing to keep it. The aforementioned statement is untrue!! This company cut my exterior lighting cable and refuses to completely repair them without receiving more money from my wife and ************ came to my home to try to fix the lighting issue, he couldnt resolve the problem, so I had to call the manufacturer to have them assist him with the issue and he was able to repair most of the lights with their assistance, however, he missed repairing one of the lights and now this company ******* and **** refuses to come back to repair this light without charging me more money. As a customer I saved this company money by calling the manufacturer, to help mitigate this issue. This company should be licensed and bonded, but, the way theyre behaving, they may not be insured. They have also destroyed my sidewalk with mud that leaks every time I water my grass and they refuse to fix this issue as well. They have received full payment from my wife and I and they refuse to resolve these issues caused by their company. Im a ************************************************************************************************************************************** the aforementioned literature from their company, to avoid protracted litigation on a matter like this one. I hope that my lawn does not die, because ******* will lie and most likely blame the issue on us as customers. ******* stated that my lawn would be level, however, it cant be level if mud is leaking onto my sidewalk after each watering. Im requesting that this company fulfills their obligation and repairs my light and repairs my lawn wear its leaking on my sidewalk/ power washNorth Florida Lawn and Pest

Dear ************** Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We regret that your experience with North Florida *********** did not meet your expectations, and we appreciate the opportunity to address your concerns.Firstly, we take pride in our commitment to customer satisfaction and professionalism. Our team strives to ensure every project is completed to the highest standards, as evidenced by our numerous satisfied clients. Unfortunately, despite our best efforts to accommodate your requests, the relationship became strained due to demands beyond the scope of our original agreement.Regarding the exterior lighting cable, we were asked to remove the cable prior to us doing sod work. We did this in front of you and pointed out problems with your cable, problems that we were not responsible for. We did this as a courtesy. So after we installed the sod your lighting had issues - issues that predated us, issues we showed you. But we decided to help and our team made several attempts to address the issue to the best of our ability. When it became apparent that the problem was more complex than initially anticipated, we appreciated your initiative in contacting the manufacturer. With their guidance, **** was able to repair most of the lights. However, the additional request to repair an unrelated light fixture was not part of our initial agreement and would require further resources and compensation, which is why an additional charge was discussed. We understand your frustration with the mud leaking onto your sidewalk. This issue can sometimes occur due to the natural settling of newly installed sod and the existing landscape conditions. Our scope of work did not include addressing pre-existing drainage issues or providing extensive aftercare services beyond the initial installation. The true issue is the sidewalk concrete slab has sunken in. We cleaned the area for over an hour and removed 99.9% of dirt, but each day it rains or you irrigate the area and some dirt strains out of the sunken concrete. Regarding your concern about our licensing and insurance, we assure you that North Florida *********** is fully licensed, bonded, and insured. We operate with full transparency and adhere to industry standards and regulations. We truly value our clients and aim to resolve issues amicably. In this case, our efforts to address your concerns were met with further demands that exceeded the agreed-upon terms, leading to the decision to discontinue further services without additional compensation. We visited your property 17 times, hardly us trying to avoid doing the right thing. We hope to have an opportunity to restore your confidence in our services in the future. Should you have any further questions or wish to discuss this matter in more detail, please feel free to contact us directly.Sincerely,********************************* North Florida *********** ************Review fromValdo P

When I signed up the sales person **** said he would personally manage my account. After using them for about a year my lawn began to look worse. Often times they came while it was raining out to spray. When I canceled service they continued to show up and bill me. I would not recommend using them. If you do use them I would not give them your credit card information or you may not be able to cancel service. I had to cancel my credit card to stop them from charging me.North Florida Lawn and Pest

****************, Thank you for your feedback. As we mentioned directly to you; we immediately cancelled your account per your request in May, 2022 but you already had a balance at the time of cancelling for previous invoices. You requested to cancel in May, your invoices that are owed are from March and April. We didn't continue to come or charge your account after you cancelled it, we only attempted to charge the account while your account was active (Through April, 2022). You had it setup on auto-charge once per month, so the account made 2 attempts to charge the balance. You see, we had no idea you cancelled your card, or your account in March and in April, because it wasn't cancelled until May. We even did services at the house during this timeframe and at no time did you call or mention you had cancelled. We leave notices on the door, and signs in the yard. If you had cancelled prior to this, we would have received a call about this but we didn't until May. We sent many invoices, texted and called about the balance. You ignored these attempts and only after you were sent to collections did you decide to reach out to us. The debt is now owned by the collection agency. To resolve this matter please contact them directly. We truly wish you all the best in the future. And we are sorry you were sent to collections, and the issue can still be resolved if you simply contact them.J. W.

The request for cancelation was made with **** in March. Any service that happened after that was not welcomed or wanted and certainly should not have been my responsibility to pay for.North Florida Lawn and Pest

With all due respect; we mailed statements continuously, my office sent multiple text message and made many calls. You got a notice on the door and signs in your lawn after claim to have cancelled. No response from yourself. As mentioned above you can dispute the collections directly with the agency that owns the debt.J. W.

I am still extremely disappointed at how North Florida Pest Control has conducted their business for the following reasons:1. I was told my property would be personally managed by your company, it was not.2. Many times my lawn was being sprayed in the rain. I am certain that what ever was sprayed in the rain did nothing to improve my lawn. 3. When I canceled my lawn and yard looked terrible. There were more weeds than ever before and bushes were dying.4. After I canceled I was advised by text message that my balance was zero. I believed that I did not owe anything for service after I canceled.5. I am now having to work through a third party collection company as they believe I had a balance.6. When working to resolve this I asked for a call from the owner as during previous conversations with office staff a resolution had not been made. 7. My only line of communication right now is through the Better Business Bureau.I have never spoken to anyone at North Florida about how the service was not satisfactory. I never had anyone from North Florida come out to review the issues I was having. I have not heard from the owner regarding any amount due or how to get it cleared up. I am now spending additional money to have portions of my yard replaced and spending additional time to clear my yard of weeds and pests that North Florida was paid to control.I will continue to dispute the charges with collections and look to escalate should a proper resolution not be found. I have found North Florida Pest control to be very un-professional in handling my account.North Florida Lawn and Pest

Thanks for the feedback again. Let's address your concerns "You were told your property would be personally managed." I am not sure what you were looking for. We had a designated technician, an office representative who personally handled any questions / concern. "Many time your lawn was sprayed in the rain" It rains almost everyday from Jun-Oct, fact light to moderate rains is very beneficial to watering the treatments in. But going without service for several months would be detrimental. Our technicians never spray in heavy rainfall, lightening. If rain concerned you, why not say something? We are always happy to explain, reschedule or retreat if you're not satisfied. "When you cancelled your lawn looked terrible". "More weeds" You never mentioned this, there's zero record of this until now. Any client that expresses any level of concern is met with immediate attention. We take results and service very serious, but we never heard anything from you."Zero balance". You had a zero balance when you were paying for service. You stopped paying and your credit card was declining each time we ran it. My office also reached out to you in regards to this - you ignored all attempts via mail, phone, text. "I am now having to work through a third party collection company as they believe I had a balance" - Correct. We tried on many occasions to resolve this, all of which you ignored. We had no other option but to turn the debt over to collections. When a customer doesn't pay, or respond we aren't left with any other options. I am still trying to help you but you must work with the 3rd party now. "My only line of communication right now is through the Better Business Bureau. I have never spoken to anyone at North Florida about how the service was not satisfactory. I never had anyone from North Florida come out to review the issues I was having. I have not heard from the owner regarding any amount due or how to get it cleared up. I am now spending additional money to have portions of my yard replaced and spending additional time to clear my yard of weeds and pests that North Florida was paid to control" Never once did you express this to us. And we have not serviced your property since April. 5 months ago. We cannot be held responsible for what happened after we stopped servicing the lawn. Had you mentioned any concern, we would have taken every possible measure. I am sorry you feel we were unprofessional. But the reality is that we can only help those who express the need for it, respond when something isn't correct or ask questions when they have them.
