      (Neuter Aftermath):Took my Lab, Butters, in for a neuter at Pet Paradise ************, and it turned into a nightmare. They gave him a cone that was so tight it left no breathing roomliterally. I voiced concern, but was brushed off. Came home later to find blood all over the place. The cone had cut into his neck and, thanks to the sedation and excessive drool, it created a nasty infection.The emergency vet said the cone was way too small and directly caused the issue. I told Pet Paradise about this on a Thursdaythey didnt call me back until Monday. No apology. No accountability. Just some weak excuse that it was a hotspot from drool. Really? Last I checked, hotspots dont cause open wounds and bleeding.If you love your pet, keep them far from this place. This wasnt just bad serviceit was pure negligence.

      Will gladly take your money without rendering any of the services without doing more harm then good.stay far away from these multiple poorly ran dog prisons.

      Terrible place! They NEVER bring the dogs in. 100 degrees outside with 90% humidity and it doesn't matter. SMALL Tin buckets hang off the fence for them to drink hot water all day! Poor things are panting and crowded into a corner for shade. Workers stand outside doing nothing and miserable with them. Witnessed a few dogs drooling from the heat! This place needs to be shut down or open an in door area for summer especially in *******!!

      PET PARADISE ON CONGAREE IS NOT THE PLACE FOR YOUR ANIMAL IF THEY ARE ON MEDICINE. My dog has seizures and really need the right amount of medicine to control them. When I picked my dog up from boarding I absolutely knew they were not giving my dog enough of his medicine. A ***** *** at pet paradise told me they gave me dog 1 pill a day until they discovered he need 3 pills every 12 hours. OMG!! I wrote the amount my dog need on his medicine bag and its also on the pill bottle. Pet paradise is so overwhelmed with animals they OVERLOOK THE MOST IMPORTANT THING. THEY NEED TO HIRE OLDER PEOPLE WHICH WOULD TAKE RESPONSIBILITY MORE SERIOUS.

      I brought to there attention of a manager selling drugs to employees and they fired the other employee! I have messages from said manager showing the drugs and regional manager will not return calls.

      When a concern is raised regarding drug use, we take this information seriously. Pet Paradise has a clear policy prohibiting both drug use and distribution within our locations, and we diligently enforce that policy with all our staff. Any information we receive regarding a potential violation of our drug use policy is fully investigated by our team. We have not and would not terminate an employee for raising a concern regarding another team members potential violation of any of our conduct policies.

      Gave my pet a vaccine without my consent. They never reached out to contact me for consent even though my mom who dropped off my pet declined the vaccine, informed them he already has an appointment schedule with his regular vet and asked them to reach out to me as she is not the pet owner therefore she couldn’t consent. They stipulated she had to pick him up by a certain day and time in order for him to stay as the vaccine they were trying to give him was expiring . She picked him up as agreed with staff member Nick prior to the vaccine expiring. When she arrived for pick up they stated that he wasn’t ready and she’d be forcing him to leave without having his morning meal. Why stipulate a day and time then not be ready? Also why make it seem like she was at fault for him “missing his meal” by showing up at the date and time as directed by your staff? I received an invoice by email for vaccine that they had no consent to give. I have phone records and email that proves they never reached out to me to obtain consent and only contact was to send me the invoice. They keep lying and saying my mom provided consent. Let’s say I hypothetically believe their narrative… how could they take consent from someone that is not the owner? Also how could your vets feel confident in giving a vaccine without knowing if the pet is allergic to anything, without requesting medical records from current vet, etc. Worst place to board a pet, only after making money by deceptive means. Will never trust this place with my pet again and encourage other to do their research before trusting them. To this day they have not returned any written requests for proof of consent nor provided proof that they attempted to reach out to me prior to giving him the vaccine as they claim.

      Pet paradise consistently does not fix the problems with their staff. I had a problem(s) when checking in my 2 dogs in March 2024 and the associate at pet paradise walked both of my dogs into a new check in customer with her dog. My pets went on the defensive immediately. I talk to corporate and consistly can not fix their issues. I have asked for boarding refunds and will not accept responsibility or make the customer (US happy). I have spent a lot of money with pet paradise over the years either with dog skin issues because of their neglect or because they turned a blind eye. They continually disappoint me with not resolving their personnel training issues. I do not recommend pet paradise. Their vet services are good but are expensive. Unfortunately vet services is inside pet paradise. I have had issues and tried to resolve this with corporate but each time I come back a huge disappointment and totally ruins my trip whether it be business or pleasure. A totally disgusted dog lover. Not recommended Oakleaf location. ************ corporate location does not care.

      This organization has terrible customer service. My dog was boarding at one of their facilities and was attacked by another dog, a pitbull mix, which I feel should not be with my dog, a golden doodle. They were out in the communal area all together. I didnt learn about the incident until the vet called me to tell me if its OK to sedate my dog before she sutured hurt your back together with multiple sutures. *****, the manager at that facility never called me, never informed me of the incident until I called back Later on that evening requesting information about the event. The vet did the repair to the ear and again was the next person to call me before ***** ever did. When I picked up my dog the next day after my trip, I was charged full price for the stay, no apologies were ****************** and she brushed me off when I was voicing my concerns about not being contacted. I turned to corporate to voice my concerns and complain, however after leaving three messages now, I am yet to hear back from corporate or from anyone. I never received a call from the facility checking up on ***** which is very disappointing after such an attack. We have used this facility lots of times and the staff enjoy having ***** ***** but I will not go back to that location.

      I have found online about pet paradise and it seemed to be a good place to leave my pet to play.

      I then called the coconut creek location and spoke to Angelica who asked me for my dogs vaccines record. She then told me he was missing 2 shots. She also had mention they had a vet there and he could give him his shots.
      I then spoke to one of the vets who said to leave him in the morning that they would grab him and give him the 2 shots he needed in the morning in order for him to play, I agreed and also schedule a bath.

      I called the place at almost 2pm and they told me he could not take his bath because he did not take his shots.

      When I came to pick him up, I also found out that not only he did not take his shot and did not take his bath He WAS LOCKED UP THE WHOLE TIME AND DID NOT EVEN PLAYED !!!!!!!!

      Nobody from the front desk called me to say he was going to be locked up from 8am to 2pm for not having his shots !!!!!


      This was by far the worst experience I had leaving my dog at a place they were supposed to be having fun.

      First mistake - giving me wrong information
      Second mistake - not calling me to say the vet could not give him a shot in the morning.
      Third mistake- zero communication on their part with me !!!

      Tiffany who said she was a manager came out and only said she was sorry after my dog was on basically locked up from 8am to 2pm !!!!

      If I was Informed he could not play I would never had left him there !!!!!

      This is an abuse to animals ! I will post this in every social media available !!!!

      Horrible service !!!!!!!!!
