Again, the demand letter was dated 3 days (check the date on the document) after I left + mailing time. The amount violates state law, I left my new address and phone number is on file. Why don't you sue me? Invalid amount!office. I'll bet **** was banking on this. I gave **** my new address and my phone number had been on file for 12 years.

Years ago I notified management of ******** **** Apartments website misinformation so the owner would not get into trouble. Did they do all of this in retaliation for making someone look bad which was not my intention? I was also treated horribly while there by Karen on 3 separate occasions, I will give specifics on BBB request or report again. I'm so happy to be out of there. This company makes over $10M annually while treating the poor, elderly, and disabled, who are lifelong contributors to society, like stray dogs.

      Business Response

      Date: 08/28/2024

Because of tenant confidentiality, this response is limited.  When this resident provided his site mgr. with a notice to vacate in 30 days, she reminded him of the term of his lease and possible penalty for default of the lease.  This was not a threat in any way but rather necessary information for the resident to consider.  His notice said that he would vacate at midnight on April 30, 2024.  On May 2, 2024 the site manager had not received any keys from the resident so she went to the apartment, saw the door standing open and went inside and found keys inside the empty apartment.  That very day, the mgr. issued the notice of claim upon security deposit in accordance with the lease and as the resident had been advised would happen.  There had been no new address provided to the manager by that time so the notice was issued to the last known address.  All deadlines and procedures were met. There has been no further action against the resident for the balance of the rent due under the lease terms though the lease agreement allows for further payment demand. Management had no plan to demand further payment.

This management company has been managing this community since the year the resident originally moved in.  The only contact with me, as I can recall at this moment, has been to previously issue a notice to resident about unacceptable behavior to site staff which was a violation of the lease.

Management has continued to meet its responsibilities under the lease to this resident and to provide clarification to him with regard to the lease.
