      I did not use Forever Trees Tree Service, but the company trespassed on my property and did damage to my fence. I can't remember whether it was on 9/26 or 9/27 2022. Trespassing on private property is illegal! My neighbor hired the tree service to cut a large tree down in his backyard. I was not home at the time the job was started. . My guess is that they needed extra room for the branches to come down and there was not enough room in my neighbor’s backyard. Without my permission, they removed the front of my fence so they could get equipment into my yard. They also moved items that were on my patio. I got home as they were finishing the job but there was some machinery in my backyard.. I asked why they trespassed onto my property without my permission and was told by my neighbor that I was not home, and they needed access. I noticed that they had totally broken one of the slats in the side of the fence. They replaced it but they put it on wrong and it is overlapping another slat by about 1 inch. It is not a new slat; it is old and beaten up. When they left, I further inspected the fence. Wood on the inside side of the front fence was gauged out, the slats at the corner of where the front of the fence were off and were leaning against my neighbor’s garbage can, and the top of one of the slats on the side fence was broken off. In addition, a portion of the side fence was now leaning in, and it was not before. When I called, the owner ***** ****** *** said he would replace and fix what was broken but he denied that cutting down the tree caused the fence to lean. If a piece of the tree fell and caused slats of the fence to break, I believe it could also cause my fence to lean. A big branch must have fallen and pushed into the fence. I told *** ***** to come today, Monday, 10/3/22, but he failed to show up. If I do not hear from him by the end of the week, I will file a small claims court case against him.

      Good morning. I’m sorry that your experience with Forever Trees Tree Service wasn’t a pleasant one. You said that you’d give us time to make it by there. We weren’t able to get by there prior to the storm arrival however, today is October 6, 2022 and we will be by there this afternoon to make sure your fence is properly repaired and back to the condition in which it was found. I also will be giving you a call to let you know that I’m coming. Our time of arrival will be before 5pm this evening. Please give me a call if there are any questions or concerns.

      I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID 1******** and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me. They came today 10/6/2022 and fixed the fence. Thank you. Please withdraw my complaint.
