      Original date of contact - Nov. 21, 2022 in workshop. Quoted 2400-2500 for 2 sofas reupholstered. Returned to shop Fri., Nov. 25, 2023 approx. 1 PM. Selected fabric and made a deposit of $1200.00, for which I received a text receipt. He verbally committed to picking up 1 sofa the next week, as I didn't need it during the holidays. He said it would be 2 week turn around and would trade it for the next sofa when he delivered the finished one. Mon., Dec. 12, I texted saying, I was moving the sofa to the garage for him to pick up. He said he would be here Thurs.AM, (Dec. 15). Dec. 15, no show. Tues., Jan. 10, 2023, I texted, asked if I should move the sofa back in, or if he was picking up soon, no response. Wed, Feb. 1, asked about pick up, no response. Left several voice messages on mobile in between these dates, but I'd have to look back on phone records to see exact dates. Late February I left a voicemail and asked for a refund and my sofa back, and that I would be happy to pay for the material and pick it up as well. He responded, apologized for the delay and picked up the sofa promptly. He said it would be a two week turn around and he would drop it back off and pick up the other one. Tues. Mar. 21., I texted,...Checking on sofa.. will I have by Easter? Response: Yes, sofa is finished, we just have to do the cushions. Will deliver end of this week or sometime next week. Mon. April 24, I texted asking to have BOTH sofa's done by May 30. Response: Still working on cushions, will try and finish by end of week.. yes, he would have them done. June 1. I texted, checking on sofa. No response. June 9, I texted, checking on sofa. No response. Alternated calls with all texts. Mon., June 19, went to shop to see what was going on. No response at door. I understand if there's a family issue and he can't finish! I would like my sofa back and the deposit, minus the fabric, IF he's ordered enough for BOTH sofas. Don't understand lack of response.

      Thank you for your help.  Your agency contacting him, did get his attention.   My husband went to the shop around noon today and again, no one answered the door, but he left his business card taped to the door.  ***** did call him!  He said there is has been an ongoing problem with the fabric and he has once again reordered it.  Again, he has promised it will be done in approximately 3 weeks. Thank you for your help, I'll keep you posted. - ***********************

      Good morning this is ***** with ***** S Upolstery. We did receive the complain. We already talked to the customer regarding that we needed two weeks to complete ************** an back order and then we were select a second time and have the same issue and she was just wondering if something is wrong, but we got a track we just waiting for ****** should be coming and that this week or beginning of next week soon as we got it, we will finish it.

      On May 25, 2023 I took an upholstered bench to Sonny's Upholstery. I also took the new fabric, covered buttons and the old upholstery. The man at the shop (I assume *****) told me it was an easy job and he would have it done the next week. He had me write my name, address, phone number and the fee ($145) on a piece of paper which he put with the bench. After several weeks when I didn't hear from him, I started calling him. A few times, someone would answer. I learned that my bench was complete, but they wouldn't ever give me a time to pick it up. They always had an excuse, which I have in a series of texts they sent me. It is now Aug 7, 2023. They have stopped answering my texts. I have been by their shop and no one is ever there. I want my bench back!
