Flight from *** to MCO delayed by 3+ hrs due to hurricane and in *** we call carnival support, and we are told to be on port before 3:30pm, we are still able to onboard. However, we arrive at port at 3:17pm (see lyft receipt) and told the onboard no longer available. So we cannot take the cruise. If you told us earlier onboard ending time will end before 3:30pm, we will not fly to MCO Please help refund the booking fee and compensate fly ticket and 1 night hotel near the terminal as we are exhausted due to get up very early and catch flight, heading to port and refuse to onboard We made our best effort to arrive in time. Especially you told me if we arrive before 3:30pm, we can still onboard, but the outcome is not the case. Whats more, when I make booking, hurricane related doesnt need insurance. And the insurance more designed for volunteer cancel or reschedule with high fee and deductible Last but not least, I want to re-emphasis if you told us earlier we can not onboard even if we are on port before 3:30pm, we will not fly to MCO. So not only the airline delay is at fault, your customer agent also at fault leading us did not cancel flight on time and extra hotel stay expense occurs
