    1/20/23 My 13 year-old son paid $80 for 2 tickets to the escape room. When he arrived, he was told he was too young and that he should have read the terms and conditions. He was sent away without a refund, a voucher, or any other resolution.My husband called. He received no resolution and was told "too bad." He asked for contact information for the owner. He was not given that contact information but was told the owner would call him. We have not received a call.I just went through the registration process for the escape room. One is asked for a date of birth and can proceed with a child's birthday. Yes, there are terms and condtions, but a child should be desisted from continuing upon entering a birthday. There are no acknowledgements or checks for the terms and conditions. My son and husband were treated very poorly. I do not appreciate the inability to seek a resolution. This was my son's money. I would like it refunded. I do not wish to set foot in this business.

    When the reservation was made there was a box that had to be checked in order to proceed with the payment.  The box is agreeing that you read the terms and conditions.  In the terms and conditions it say that any children under the age of ************************ the room with them.  We also cant refund at the time of the reservation.  We sell time and since all the games are private if someone reserves a time we cant resell that time.   Her husband never asked for contact info he asked for someone to contact him and he was told that the owner was out of town and if he was to call he would tell the same answer.   The reservation was made after agreeing to the terms and conditions.

    I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me. I don't condone the rudeness of the employee, nor do I accept the fact that the proprietor never returned communication, but some people are just rude. Not much to be done about that.
