I would like to respond to Life Imagings letter to BBB.
First, there was no need to mention the value of the heart scan for $699. each. The reason we made the appointment to begin with is that the heart scan was advertised on TV to be FREE
We went immediately the next day and each were given a heart scan by a technician.

We then were taken back into a room and were told by another person that this imaging was part of a research programcalled the *************** Alliance Study and our personal insurance couldnt be used. There was NO mention that the full body scan cost $7999 each. We were told that we would have 4 more scans each to be used over 5 years. The total for both of us would be $7000. Interest free for 2 yrs.
We found out later that these scans could only be used in ******* at only 4 facilities. We live in **********. We are 86 &
81 years old. We were only in ******* because our children gifted the vacation for our birthdays. We dont have the means of going to
    Florida again.
I take responsibility because at the time I was confused on what I was signing. My husband and I talked about it on the way back to **********. We are under the care of excellent specialists back home with ******** paying for all our medical needs.

I called immediately to cancel the purchase. I explained to every person I spoke with ( I have the names and dates) and the reason for my call. It took one month before I had a return call from *****.. who I learned was a CEO of the company.
I told him that we didnt want the scans, I didnt know I was signing up for a credit card and that we could not afford $7000. It was a mistake on our part. He told me the best he could do was take $1000 off.

The reason I contacted BBB because looking back on the way our entire interaction went, the sales person was in a hurry to have me put my initials, sign our names on their forms (and trusting her we did). We were left in the room after all this was done, never told to leave and NEVER saw the sales person again! We feel that we were scammed and taken advantage of because of our age.
    We truly need your assistance.
If you need any further information, please contact me,

    Sincerely,

    **** *******

**, and we began calling regularly once we arrived home in ** on March 10. Our interest in contacting the Provider was to cancel the agreement. After more than an additional 10 calls over the next several weeks during which messages were left with the Provider explaining in detail why we were calling, the co-CEO of the company finally called back on 3/28 and informed us that he could not do anything as it was too late to cancel the agreement. By the end of that conversation, he offered us $1,000 credit and said that was the best he could do.Finally, it was very unclear to us that the company would create a credit line for us by opening a new credit account with Care Credit. In my opinion, this was not clearly explained nor was it fully understood by us and now represents a credit risk as we are both social security recipients, which represents the majority of our monthly income. Based on our experience, we would like others seniors warned of this scam

To whom it may concern, both customers received two scans on Feb 28, 2025. A calcium score heart scan with no contrast and a full body scan with no contrast. The calcium score heart scans were free to the customers and had a $699.00 value each for a total of $1398.00. Both customers received their calcium score heart scan reports. The customers also purchase 10 full body scans with no contrast for a deeply discounted amount of $7000.00 which they can use over the next 5 years. The customers agreed to use Care Credit as form of payment and were explained the entire process in great detail. Both customers understood, agreed to and signed the required payment documents. We have all signed documentation. The customers used 2 of the 10 full body scans on Feb 28, 2025. Their scan images were read by a Florida licensed radiologist. Both customers received their full body scan reports from the radiologist. Our full body scans retail for $3995.00 each. The 2 full body scans used by the customers are valued at $7990.00. The customers already used 2 of the scans valued at $7990.00 and there is no refund due. The remaining 8 scans can be used at any of our Florida facilities over the next 5 years for preventative care and may be gifted to a family member or friend. We were extremely clear the remaining scans can only be used at our ******* locations and that we do not have locations in any other *** states. The customers received both the free and purchased scan services and associated reports as promised.  We save hundreds of lives every month with our early detection scans which find unknown heart blockages and cancer. We have hundreds of testimonials everywhere! There is absolutely no high pressure sales tactics used with any of our customers and we are not a scam! ********************** FLA has been in business over 5 years and have had the pleasure to serve over ****** customers.

This business definitely told my husband and I we were both sitting there together that shes Canadian and that these scans could be read by a doctor in ****** or we would not have paid $2000 for them. Why would we have done that nor did she say that they couldnt be read in another country She never mentioned that at all they dont return my calls at all. Its a scam business and its not fair that we paid all this money for nothing.

To whom it may concern, the patient received two scans on March12, 2025. A calcium score heart scan with no contract and a full body scan with no contrast. The calcium score heart scan was free to the patient and had a $699.00 value. You received the calcium score heart scan report. You also purchase an additional full body scan with no contrast for $1000.00 which was read by a Florida license radiologist. You received the full body scan report. The radiologist reviewing your case said it is not possible to comment about anything on patients liver condition in the scan report based on the nature of this plain study. The radiologist recommended further testing of a contrast enhanced CT along with LFT lab if the patient wants to find out more details about their liver condition. We made no claims that the scan with no contrast would completely diagnose the patients liver condition. We also did not make any claims whether the scan would be admissible in the health care system of another country. The patient received both the free and purchased scan services and associated reports as promised.
