      I am filing a formal complaint against for providing a vacation rental that was vastly different from what was promised and paid for. I booked a 10-bedroom property with full amenities, secured with a $200 deposit on August 7, 2024, and paid the final amount on November 23, 2024. Less than 30 days before our departure, your company switched our reservation to a different property, which was in deplorable condition and did not meet the standards advertised.Upon arrival, I found the property dirty and unsafe, with the following issues:-vacuuming in the home not completed including on the stairs and in bedrooms.-floors not mopped -stains throughout the property -door k*** is off downstairs bedroom -no internet / internet password - Dirty, moldy curtain liners -mice droppings -king and twin bedding including mattress pads on 2nd floor were damaged -blinds are broken - safety hazard, pool gate is broken (we have small children) -replace twin sheets in **** room - replace twin sheets in Dumbo room - Air hockey table is broken -no fuse ball for the fuse ball table -pool table broken -alarm system fell off wall - bathroom upstairs not cleaned hair in bathroom -blinds downstairs missing panels -no wash cloths offered only hand towels and bath towels I immediately contacted the office, but only a maintenance worker appeared to address some concerns. We were denied clean bedding, housekeeping, and repairs to the recreational amenities. My grandchildren had no functioning activities, and no other accommodations were offered.This bait-and-switch is unacceptable, and I did not receive the accommodations I paid for. I am requesting a full refund. The company has failed to resolve this matter and falsely accused my family of damaging bedding which was already damaged when we arrived and complained, we were accused of missing towels when we in fact purchased additional towels because the towels were unacceptable.

      You are correct that we contacted you 30 days prior to your arrival. Due to management changes, we had to offer an alternative home, which the guest accepted. Guest could have also canceled the reservation. 

      Regarding cleanliness, we did clean the home prior to the guest stay, but we understand that guest identified some items upon their arrival. We encourage our guests to inspect the property when they check in. As this is a vacation home, it can experience wear and tear over time. When this occurs, we go back and repair items if needed. The concerns guest raised did not affect their overall experience, and we promptly addressed guest requests that were given to us on Dec 28th the following day on the 29th. Less than 24 hours items were taken care of. 

      As for the Wi-Fi, the login details were posted on the router, and we also sent that information via email. We provide bed and bathroom linens for our guests, unfortunately we do not supply wash clothes as part of the linens to be used. We did notice after guest checked out they did damage some of the bedding about ****** worth.

      5. Adjusted pool mesh locks
      6. Adjusted pool door lock 2
      7. Small battery missing on pool exit door 2
      8. Surface broken on hockey table
      9. Left ball for soccer game
      10. Need 8' slats
      11. Installed 4 pool table protectors
      12. Guest reports stains on carpet
