      Floor sanded and sealed on 10/7/24, there were areas requiring additional joints filled with sand and sealer around pool area. They returned on 10/25/24 sealed and sanded all areas. This resulted in sand being on the surface of approximately 75% of the total area. Looks like floor has not been cleaned. The owner showed up 11/5/24 to review and said he felt everything was fine. On 1/2/25 two men (one being the owners son) tried to remove the sand with a hot water washing machine. After a few minutes they decided it wasnt working, called father and was told to pack up and leave. Prior to there leaving both men exclaimed that they have never seen such a mess. They were not the crew that made the ****** called the owner on 1/10/25 and asked if he was going to remove the sand and sealer chemically. He said no and after a few minutes of conversation he hung up on me.

      Our Company was out in August of 2024 to provide an estimate for pressure wash, sand and seal. The customer agreed to the written quote and scheduled a date for the job. We arrived on the date agreed upon (10/7/2024) to pressure wash, sand and seal the customer's pool deck. Once the crew was finished with the cleaning and sanding the customer stated that he was not happy with the lack of the sand in the joints and natural "pits" in the travertine pavers. The pavers on the pool deck are Travertine, this is a very porous paver which is not meant to be completely filled with sand as it is a naturally honed and filled product. The crew explained to the customer that that is the way the travertine is supposed to be, he insisted on more sand. They applied more sand and proceeded to seal the travertine. Customer called the office stating he still was not satisfied with the lack of sand. The office sent a crew back out on 10/25/2024 to re-sand and reseal the job again, against our advice and knowledge to the customer of knowing the outcome. Shortly after, the customer began calling the office and **** explaining to us that the pool deck looks terrible, his friends are all asking what happened to it and we have to do something to get the excess sand off. **** again explained to him that he was made aware as to what could happen and he insisted we proceed. After the conversation **** agreed to send a crew back out there in an attempt to remove excess sand using the hot water pressure washer and a scrub brush. On January 2, 2025 the crew came back out and performed the hot water pressure wash and scrub. The pool deck was re-sanded with NO re-seal due to already having been sealed.

      I am rejecting this response because,

      These are the facts regarding my complaint as listed below.

      10/07/24  Floor cleaned, sanded and sealed.

      10/09/24  Hurricane washing out joints and sealer around pool and along screen of lania.

      10/22/24 We returned from ***** to find several joints not filled and sealant removed around pool area/

      10/25/24  Crew returned to make repairs, we had no conversation regarding advice as to what the outcome may be from the office or the crew. 

      1/02/25 Crew returned to clean off the sand with a hot water washer scrubber. After a few minutes they quit and were told to pack up and leave. The owners son was one of the crew and he and his helper told me they have never seen such a mess. They did a small area and did not re-sand any of it.

      After that i talked to the owner and asked him to remove the sand and sealer chemically. He said he would do it if i paid for it and then hung the phone up on me.

      The issue was created by his company. why should i pay for there mistakes?
