After being toyed around for weeks they are unwilling to help. The spa does not get over 83 degrees. The first month we had to get a whole new control pannel. Now the lid/cover to the spa is completely useless. The foam inside is dissolving and moldy. The "leather" is ripping at the seems. **************** ghosts you. They don't answer their phone or call back after leaving several voicemails. I HIGHLY DO NOT RECOMMEND ANY OF THEIR PRODUCTS. SAVE YOUR MONEY.Dream Maker Spas

DreamMaker Spas apologizes for the delayed response on your claim. We will address the importance of timely responses with the customer service group to ensure we are meeting customers standards on response time. Regarding your warranty claim, it appears you purchased your hot tub in 2022 with a 90-day warranty on parts, 1 year on labor, and 5 years on the shell. The claim you filed was for the hot tub cover in which it is out of warranty. We realize this might not be the outcome you were expecting, however we are working within our warranty parameters.Review fromGraham A

I have experienced the same problem apparently as other consumers in that the spa cracks. Our Hot Tub isnt even three years old yet and we noticed it leaking, We bought from Leons pools and seas so we had them down to have a look and they have been the very best. They found out that there was a crack in the shell and we have been adding water every two days. They also noticed underneath they had a 2x4 in there installed and not sure why that would be there. They have been working with dream maker for us and all they said they could do was send us a new spa for $2145 plus shipping fees, This is what we paid for the hot tub why would we pay this again?. I understand shipping fee but why would we have to pay for a new hot tub. The tub was under warranty 5 years. I can not understand why it would be made this way. I am wondering if Dream Maker is casting off defective tubs to consumers to fill the warranty claims. Very disappointed. This will be my last time using this company if the products have gotten to be so poorly made. We shouldn't have to pay anything for a replacement this is not our fault or Leon pools and spa it is yours as its your product that you sold to us.Dream Maker Spas

The warranty for this product outlines in the case of a cracked shell, the manufacturer will provide a replacement shell, and split the transportation cost with the consumer. This is outlined in the warranty document on www.dreammakerspas.com.

The offer mentioned in the review is an upgrade offer if the consumer wishes to forgo the warranty process. I would encourage the consumer to call our Consumer Care help line to discuss the warranty in more detail. The consumer care dept can be reached at 888-768-6772.

I have experienced the same problem apparently as other consumers in that the spa cracks. I have had two that cracked and in the same exact spot so there seems to be a problem in the design in that it would have a stress area. My first tub lasted many years and then developed the crack. I liked the spa very much and ordered another. As mentioned, it cracked in the same spot as the first but in only 4 years. The tub was under warranty, another tub shipped that I paid for. Not cheap. $400 for shipping. I just received after 6 weeks. The issue is that the inside of the tub is so rough it actually hurts where you rub against it. I have never had this problem with the two previously owned tubs. I can not understand why it would be made this way. I am wondering if Dream Maker is casting off defective tubs to consumers to fill the warranty claims. Very disappointed. This will be my last time using this company if the products have gotten to be so poorly made. I will also add that you can see daylight through the tub in the area that has been the problem. It is made too thin.Dream Maker Spas

They are made out of polyethylene which is impossible to repair. We bought the spa in January 2019. The spa has a 5 year warranty on the shell and at the beginning of January 2023 we noticed a leak. We found the leak to be a crack in the spa shell. I emailed the factory on 1/7/2023 providing proof of purchase with serial numbers and pictures of the crack. After no response I called on 1/12 and was to send a picture of the foundation where the spa was located. On 1/13 I was told the claim was accepted and they would build a replacement spa. On 2/1 I called and spoke to Chris, I was told they needed a picture of the serial number tag off the spa. So this company will never call you if they need more info. On 3/3 after not hearing from anyone I called again and spoke to Chris. I was informed the warranty didnt cover freight and I needed to pay $700. After much debate they did reduce that to $536. At that time I asked if they could just issue partial credit or repair my spa because I would also have to pay to have the defective spa disposed of and the new spa installed. They said they do not do that. The spa shipped 3/15 but arrived damaged on 4/5 and was refused. Pictures were sent to the spa company. After seeing the damage I began to realize how thin the shell actually was. I was informed a replacement spa would not go into production until 5/15/23, which means end of June before I receive it. In the meantime they have already received my payment for the freight. After considering the fact that the spa has to travel from Florida and the replacement spa may have a hidden crack, plus I would incur extra charges for removal of old spa, I decided to cut my losses and cancelled the replacement order. I then tried to get a 3rd party to repair the crack. That is when I discovered due to the spa not being acrylic but being polyethylene no repair material will adhere to polyethylene. This company doesnt stand behind their product.Dream Maker Spas

The consumer is correct with stating the hot tub is polyethylene. Polyethylene is a very durable material. There are times when a tensile crack occurs, and thus a warranty claim is filed. After review of this customers warranty claim, the company has abided by our stated warranty, as well as offered additional solution to the situation (reduced freight costs). The warranty for the product is posted on our website along with our resellers websites for consumers to review pre-purchase. We stand behind our product and warranty. Unfortunately the consumer did not want to follow through with the warranty process. We are very sorry the customer is not satisfied.

This company will not stand by its product without making you pay big $$$ for defective workmanship. I purchased a Premium 600 model in January 2021. A crack developed in May 2023 and water was leaking out of the spa. The shell is under warranty for 5 years. Customer service approved my claim and said they could ship a replacement plumbed shell and I would be required to cover 50% of the shipping which is over $800, $400 out of my pocket. Then I would be on the hook for swapping the non-plumbing parts into the new shell and I would have to dispose of the old shell on my dime. I checked their website and it quoted shipping costs on a new spa at $395. So it would cost half the price to ship a new spa as opposed to a shell? They gave me an even better offer to "upgrade" to a new spa for $1300. I paid $2700 for it brand new in 2021. Why should I pay almost 50% of the original cost to "upgrade" after only 2.5 years? This warranty policy is heinous to the say the least. I actually wouldn't mind upgrading, but $1300 to replace a 2.5 year old spa that originally cost $2700? I'm afraid to ask if the shipping costs is included in the $1300.Dream Maker Spas

******** **** has a warranty policy in place, in which we follow for claims such as this. As the manufacturer, we provide a plumbed shell, the consumer is responsible to transition the electrical equipment and pay 50% of the freight.
***********************************************************************************
In regard to freight costs, we collect a freight quote from various carriers and select the most cost effective one, and split the cost with the consumer. The consumer is welcome to provide their own transportation method, we are happy to work with them if they have a preferred freight carrier. In regard to an upgrade, there are times when a consumer requests this as an alternative solution. It is not part of our warranty.
We are here to assist should you want to proceed with the warranty claim process.

Ordered one of their Hot tubs. It was delayed during manufacturing. When I finally got the hot tub hooked it up and it was running fine on 110v. I had a 220v service installed and hooked the 220v up to the hot tub using the conversion showed in manual and on the diagram in control box. DR and HL code and only jets on high no low. Contacted them multiple times and they kept having me do my own troubleshooting and voltage testing and such instead of sending a tech. They said because of the amount of time being spent working on this tub and every part sent didn't fix the issue they were going to pay for my time and send a set of steps. Never got any pay or steps. After several months of troubleshooting and part replacement finding out that half of the components from manufacturer were OEM installed backwards still couldn't get it to function on 220v they finally agreed to send a tech. Took multiple calls and 5 more months to finally get a tech out. The tech said that the pump wasn't circulating enough water on low to handle the higher heat from the heater on 220v that the company knew of the issue and that there was a different pump they were now using and would send the new pump to be put in for a higher water flow. Part came in and tech never came back out. Called and was told that the tech didn't know when they would be able to come back and I could install it myself if I got tired of waiting. Finally just installed it myself and still the same codes. Looked at the tag on pump and it was the same pump nothing new about it. Multiple contacts into the company again and now being told I need a tech again. They know nothing about a pump. That I am fully responsible to pay for anything including tech that I'm now past warranty. When defected product they sent has never been fixed.Dream Maker Spas

Our records indicate the product was purchased in June 2021. There is a warranty claim that was processed in Sept 2021. Dream Maker Spas provided numerous parts under warranty, no charge to the consumer. There was an additional claim processed in April 2022, where a pump was provided under warranty at no charge to the customer. Labor at this time has since expired (labor is covered for 90 days).
Dream Maker Spas will reach out to the consumer today, to assist with resolution.Review fromFrancis C

I ordered a hot tub through a 3rd party which was manufactured by Dream Maker Spas. Ordered in Aug, 2021 and took delivery in Feb. 2022. At that time, there was frozen water in the lines. Contacted manufacturer and was told I could not start the spa until the air temps were above freezing. In April 2022, I was able to fill and start the spa. I had a problem with a blown fuse In July 2022. Contacted manufacturer and left message. No return call for over a week. Contacted local spa repair and they fixed issue. When the manufacturer did call me back, I was granted a refund of $146 of the $240 for the repair cost. In Aug. 2022 the hot tub started leaking. Called manufacturer again and was told I needed to wait until it stopped leaking and send in photos. Sent in photos and placed two subsequent phone calls that have not been returned. I received an email from manufacturer approximately a week after submitting photos asking if it was still leaking!?! Seems like a delay tactic in sending parts and installer to my home. Have been without use of this hot tub for weeks now. I also learned I do not have the correct owner's manual for this unit. Have been requesting one for almost two months now and still have not received it. I definitely cannot recommend this company.Dream Maker Spas
