7/11 I was contacted about an add in a magazine and never received anything and researching it more seems to be a scam. Theyve stopped messaging and wont answer my emails. I paid $500 in full for this and was guaranteed 4 magazine productions with quarterly release

I was called last year about a way to advertise my business. I am a realtor. I was promised 4 publications with my promotional material that would be sent to country club members across the ********* area. I received the first publication in December and the company went silent after that. Ive followed up and cant get through to anyone. Upon receiving the first publication it was clear it was a scam. It was a bunch of pictures stapled together. Keep in mind they are supposedly a luxury branding company. Regardless of the quality, regardless of the scam company selling me a false product, at the end of the day the order was for 4 publications over the course of a year. Only 1 has been delivered. Theres no proof anything has been sent out to country club members and supposedly this was a quarterly advertisement. The company has not delivered. It is unfair to be not only taken advantage of, but made to pay for something that doesnt exist. I paid $600 for absolutely nothing but stress. They hung up on me when I tried to call and stopped responding to emails. They sold false promises and took advantage of me.

I am filing this complaint against Lavish Life Publications due to fraudulent business practices and gross misrepresentation of their services.Nature of the Complaint:Misrepresentation of Services: I was promised an advertisement in a professional, widely distributed magazine. Upon receiving the magazine, I discovered that my advertisement was the only one present. This exclusivity was never disclosed or agreed upon, and it significantly reduces the perceived value of the advertisement.Poor Quality of Content: The articles in the magazine appear to be generated by AI or written by individuals without professional writing skills. The content is subpar and does not reflect the quality expected from a professional publication.Fraudulent Advertisements: The other "advertisements" in the magazine are clearly not paid for by the purported companies. This raises serious ethical and legal concerns, as it misleads readers and devalues the magazine's content.Nonexistent ************************** was supposed to be distributed to the entire ********************* neighborhood. However, my contacts in the neighborhood confirmed that they have never seen or heard of this magazine being distributed in their area. This contradicts the company's claims and further indicates fraudulent activity.Company's Response: Upon contacting Lavish Life Publications to address these issues, they refused to issue a refund, citing a no refund policy. However, this policy is not applicable when the services provided are fraudulent or grossly misrepresented.Desired Outcome:I demand a full refund of the amount paid for the advertisement. The business practices of Lavish Life Publications are deceptive, and they have failed to deliver on their promises. If the refund is not issued promptly, I will pursue further legal action.

I was contacted by phone to advertise in Lavish Life Publication. I paid $775 with the promise of a full page and an 1/4 page ad, to be sent out in December to ******* clubs, doctor offices, etc. (see below) I was also told that within 3 days, someone from the design team would reach out to me. (See Welcome Package.). They never did. I have attached screen shots of the emails between us. (numbered 1 through 10). Note the date of the final proof of December 7, even though they had said it would be printed and shipped out in Dec. I kept thinking it odd they didn't care about when I sent it. The 2 proofs they sent show that they are not professionals. The first one used 4 clip art of houses, and the 2nd proof violated Fair Housing laws. At one point, I asked for a refund with no response to that request. I asked for a list for where the magazines were sent out, and they refused. They also said (quoted from their email) "Yes it is getting distributed to the Charlotte ******* club members, and a 20 mile radius of doctor offices, dentist offices, and other high end waiting rooms. We distribute ***** per quarter, ****** for the year." I live in *******, which they said oh yeah, they were sent there too. There would be no reason to send to *********, which is 2+ hours away and a totally different market. I have checked and NO ONE here ever received the magazine. One magazine was sent to me, and my ad was THE ONLY ad in the magazine. They included full-page photos from: Rolex, ****************************** for Business, iPhone, Aflac, D&G, ************************** Vuitton, Titleist, *********, ****************************** Tesla,Corona. (I wonder if those companies know they are using their photos for profit? Worth checking into!) I have discovered others who were also scammed, and have also heard that they are now going after other businesses, not just Realtors. I would like a full refund for a service that was never perforned.

9/10/23 I received a phone call from Lavish Life Publications. They said that they work with ************** & publish their magazine for their members. The magazine goes out quarterly. They also told me I would receive a copy each quarter. On 1/5/2023 I asked for a refund bc nothing had been sent to *** *** was feeling scammed. They gave me the run around saying I didnt send them what the ad would look like. So I sent them more ***************** It is now 5/28/2024 *** havent received any magazine or approval for my ad. I looked more into the **************** seems they do this to a lot of other Realtors. I finally called ************** Friday ****** confirmed that they do not do any partnership or even know who Lavish Lifestyle Publications are. I asked the publication today (third time total) for a refund and they said that they already sent out 2 magazines, which I have not received, have not approved any *** ****** dont even work with the legitimate business that I agreed to be in their magazine. I would like a refund and I would like other Realtors to know they are a scam. They seem to be telling Realtors that they work with a local country club or golf club, but they definitely do not.

I am submitting this screenshot showing that they have done this to other real estate agents, over a period of time.
