  5 star for install/coordinator. I would give the sales team and company a 1-star rating for their handling of our contract and the customer service that followed. I signed a contract to have all of my windows and sliding glass doors to be replaced with impact rated fixtures. I understood that the company only performed like for like replacements. However, I had one sliding glass door in my kitchen that had significant leaks so I knew there could be damage to the surrounding framing. Since we would need to address that issue prior to replacement and would have to remove the door and replace the surrounding framing, my desire was to change this opening from the sliding glass door to a new window opening in the process. I would take on removal of the old door and new wall framing to accommodate a new window prior to arrival and installation. During contract negotiations, the sales guy asked me directly "What can we do to get you as a customer?" I responded with my desire for the above window to be included in the sale and installation granted that I did my part to ensure the wall work was completed. Because the salesman could not make this decision on his own, he called his bosses to get approval. Following a phone call from the salesman to ownership, this was agreed upon and contract was signed to include installation of subject window. I subsequently hired a licensed and insured GC to complete the wall work and frame out a window opening to the exact RO specs given by FL ***************************** and their measurement team. Fast forward to completion of the project and I am left with a window that was marked for delivery only and refusal to install by FL ***************************** even though nowhere in the contract that I signed initially was this excluded from installation. I now am forced to take this work on myself and at my own cost. The above handling of the contract and customer service is unacceptable in my book if a company prides itself on customer satisfaction and repeat business.

  Windows that open horizontally are fine. Windows that open vertically are terrible. They slide down when you open them. We've had the mechanism on a couple of these windows replaced 4 times and they still don't work?? Of the 6 horizontal windows they installed, only 2 work correctly

  I asked Florida Window and Door to quote on the expansion of the number of window and doors in my home. I was happy with my earlier installation. Donna S. made this experience even better guiding me through the various qualities/characteristics. I was highly impressed with her knowledge in suggesting the type I would be happy with.

  I would give a zero if possible they do nothing but lie. The sales ********** *******) said the installers were *** employees which is a lie. The installation company was subcontracted out and had no experience in window installation. They didn't protect the interior part of that house and caused thousands of dollars worth of damages. **** ******* guaranteed our house would be protected and if there was damage they would repair. *** did not stand by the guarantee that was given to us by the ***** We were told to get quotes to repair the damage. Got multiple quotes and sent to them and heard nothing from anyone in the company. From that point on we were ghosted. Made multiple call and left multiple messages to (****** ******) Installation and service **** and ( Donqika ******) Project Coordinator. Now it has been sent to the finance company for payment. In short it's on your best interest not to use Florida Window and Door

  This company is a fraud. They promised me services that they have not fulfilled, and I've noticed that many employees leave or get fired quickly. I paid a $500 deposit at the beginning of August 2024, but they still haven't completed the work.During the first month, they kept giving me excuses about delays with permits. I even ensured that my condominium would be approved quickly, yet they have spent all these months without requesting permission from the city. Communication has been terrible; they do not respond to my calls or emails, and they have not provided any information about what happened to my deposit. Additionally, they have not done any of the promised ******* short, I feel robbed and defrauded. I am currently working with my credit card company to dispute the charge, and I am in the process of pursuing legal action for fraud with my lawyer and the police. I highly recommend that you look for another company!

  My daughter was helping us find a company to replace or repair our sliding door while I was out of the country. She scheduled a meeting with the Salesman and ultimately paid a down payment that day after being told they couldn't guarantee a specific offer after their meeting. Not wanting to lose out, she went ahead. Neither she nor my husband knew they put her name on the contract (she thought she was signing some payment/acknowledgment documents, not the actual contract).About a month later, my daughter received a phone call asking if she could provide her a copy of a deed or trust with her name on it. She clearly stated she wasn't on it and had been helping us. They told her she needed to get a notarized authorization in case they needed her to sign any documents. My husband was abroad at the time, and they had planned to get it notarized upon his return. Unfortunately, he was hospitalized for over a month. It was in October when we could take care of things. We found that she was on the contract, requested a name change, and followed up a few days later when we had not received it. When we were directed to the Salesman, he was brisk and, again, seemed irritated we were asking for a change. We found someone else for much cheaper to easily replace the door for less than 1/6th that was quoted. After waiting to receive the updated contract, she called the company to let them know she would like to cancel it. She was told because she had missed three day money back, she would lose her money and that after final measuring (which took less than ten minutes after the first time they forgot to input her appointment), it was the point of no return. The Salesman was pushy and was clearly unhappy. My daughter is out $1000.00, and they never sent us the promised revised contract. I am severely disappointed in the fact they screwed her out of her hard-earned money when she was only trying to help us.Certainly, we will never refer them.

  Overall, we are happy with the windows and they were good pricing. The installation has some issues with wiring and didnt clean up the glass so my husband and I were outside picking up shards of glass from the old windows often. Overall, they fixed any issues found and the windows are beautiful.
