  Affordable Dentures in Lakeland Fl. Malpractice error and they expect me to pay for it. I went in for extractions and full Denture pkg. I chose the Ultimate Denture package instead of implants. July 2023, I paid, in full, almost $6.5k the day of. I signed the consent forms and paid in full for Dentures. When the extraction was over I went check out and was told I owed $ 4k more because the Dr put anchor screws in my bottom jaw for implants. I tried to clarify it, but after just having 22 teeth pulled I couldn't. I gave her an additional $1.k that day ( bad idea), said that I will call them to clear it up. ***** had the gall to say " well, you didn't say anything when he was putting the anchors in!" How was I suppose to know that's what he was doing? I've never had it done, was numb and high, the Dr didn't communicate his intentions. My pain was severe, lasting well over a week, loss of work. See pics. Every visit they tried to get me to agree to the implants, said the Dr would work out a pmnt plan. I can't afford it and told them so, I refused to sign the implant forms. I called to schedule for my permanent Dentures and was told by *****, that I still owe them almost 2k. " Unfortunately, a mistake was made communicating to the Dr., he has to be paid by you." She offered to only charge me an additional 1.4k ( + 1k I already gave them) if I let them remove the anchors, which have now grown into my jawbone. I tried to plead my case and explain that this wasn't my fault, she became rude, kept repeating " Unfortunately, a mistake was made, but the Dr. has to be paid!" I never agreed to, nor paid for implants. I want my $ 1.k returned to me. Bullying me isn't good cust. svc and isn't going to make me pay for their mistake. I have contacted Corp. for Affordable dentures. I'm supposed to get my perm. Dentures in February, paid in full for, next month and am honestly concerned about returning to this particular office. They've lost my trust. I fear them now.

  ***************************** from **************** was finally able to get the Affordable Dentures office manager ***** to accept responsibility for their error. After numerous attempts we finally reached the conclusion that I was owed the return of my $1,000.00 overpayment and recieved it Monday, March 11, 2024. I am scheduled to receive the ************ Dentures, that I paid for in full, on March 25th. Hopefully all is settled. Thank you
