    Mr. ***** gave us an estimate to get pavers installed for $2,350.

    We told him we wanted to move forward with the work. We paid the required deposit of $587.50.

    Mr. ***** picked up & cashed the check. He said he would order the pavers & get back to us.

    After several phone calls & leaving messages, I spoke with Mr. ***** and he told me he had not received word on the order.

    I called Mr. ***** once again and was told the same thing (he was waiting for the company to call him back as to when the pavers would be in). It had been approximately 12 weeks.

    I called Mr. ***** again, and he told me the same thing. I told him that we needed to find another supplier. He agreed and told me he would. I told him we would be out of town and may be difficult to speak to me directly since I would be in a remote area, but to leave me a voicemail or text and I would get back to him.

    I called him again, and he said he texted and left messages. I informed him that while I received numerous calls and texts from family and friends, I had not received anything from him. I told him to go ahead and order the pavers from the new company. He said it would be a few days and he would call me back to let me know.

    I called him again and he said he would let me know when they were going to deliver them. I told him when we talked on 10/10, he said a few days. He said “What do you want me to do?” He said he was just going to send me the money back and hung up on me. After he hung up on me, I texted him asking when we should expect the refund. I did not get any response.

    My husband called and left Mr. ***** a message. Mr. ***** texted my husband back and said “if it was concerning the refund, it’s been submitted and my accountant has mailed the check”.

    It's been 9 months since we paid the deposit. No materials were delivered and no work was done. We haven't received the refund though we were told it was mailed out 10/28/22.

    I'd like to give Mrs. ***** a one star customer rating. She is dishonest. A refund was mailed to her at the time she stated. I do not control the postal service. A new refund was dropped of to her husband directly 2/16/23. I explained many times that I do not control production of materials. She proceeded to accuse me of stealing her deposit with no intention of doing the job. I told her she was getting a refund due to that accusation. The refund was mailed initially.
