I paid almost 28k for a sun room and the work was sloppy. They installed defective windows and said it is a manufacture issue. They left 3 holes in my floor after replacing a dangerous high threshold. They did not communicate at all and made choices for home owner. They refuse to fix windows or repair floor before full payment is made. I have paid 22k so far and will not pay more until repairs are addressed. The caulking and layout of the frames was horrible too. They did not snap a line to leave a consistent edge of concrete. I have areas that are 1 to almost 3 . The caulking they got everywhere. I forgot to mention one window has a large scratch and all the track ***** the windows glide on are loose and not the same locations. The windows measure when opened 3/4 top right corner and only 1/4 bottom corner. I would never recommend this company!

Client didn't pay, still avoiding paying final balance even after building department inspected and approved it as being installed within the engineering and manufacturer guidelines.  Client asked for a unique threshold different than manufacturer provided, which meets Florida Building Code requirements for tripping height.  We installed a different threshold and still client doesn't like that.  Offered another solution, but client is not willing to pay bill once the agreed upon checklist is achieved.  The windows are great, the bottom glides have play and it was reported to the manufacturer and a service has been opened for them to review this.  The windows operate perfectly and have appropriate tolerances.  Client asked for an abundance of caulking, even asking to caulk the underside seams of the composite roof, this is not standard practice.  We have met the client on-site multiple times post final inspection, and the client constantly moves the end goalpost.  We didn't get caulking everywhere; the client's dogs clearly made a mess of the wet caulking when they were released in the room.

Room was installed square, the existing patio slab was/is out of square.  As we explained to the client, we have to install the room square for windows to operate appropriately.  Client had tile installed after our base channel went in.  The threshold now sits on top of the tile, where it would have sat on top of the slab as we quoted.

I find it quite audacious the client would even place a review when he still owes a considerable balance.  Unfortunate that it has to end this way, but our staff has been thorough, communicative, offering solutions and making a solid effort to do everything possible to have this clients' wishes met, but there has to be a point where emailing back and forth and back and forth has to end.  He also delivered us an illegal post-dated check, then when we contacted him to let him know we couldn't accept the payment, he was upset saying he will place a stop payment on it.  Not sure how that is fault of AAC.

Last communication we asked to list all services requested.  We agreed to the services and only asked that client be at the home for these to be completed and walk it over with our Project Manager at completion to make sure we achieved everything and collect final payment.  This offer has been denied by the client.  Contract calls for payment due upon "considerable completion," this has been achieved and client seems to be just delaying payment endlessly.

Paid over $7,000 getting a whole new patio installed because our old one leaked and the new one leaked worse than the old! We called them to come out and they never showed. Then, finally a guy came out for 5 minutes, said he fixed it and it was still leaking everywhere. I mean through every seam, on the outside, middle, etc. It was raining inside. So, we had to call them out AGAIN. At this point the office lady, ****, is ARGUING WITH US because we left them a bad review on ********* OF COURSE WE DID, ****!! We paid over $7,000 for a brand new LEAKING PATIO! After this, I left it to my husband to deal with her because she was so rude. Well, **** just called me this morning (8/23/23) asking if it's still leaking. Our tenant has been only communicating with my husband about it at this point, so I told **** that I don't know the status because I haven't been dealing with it. **** YELLS AT ME "Yes you HAVE been dealing with it because you left us a bad review!" ARE YOU KIDDING ME, ****?! Now you are getting another attitude with ME after I told you I'M NOT DEALING WITH THIS!!! I will tell EVERYONE I KNOW to NEVER use this awful company! Not only do they not know how to properly install a patio, but then they'll YELL AT YOU when you complain that it's leaking!!!!

The job was installed and completed on 8/30/22.  A service ticket was filed 9/9/22 and the technician completed that service on 9/16.  At this service the client was upset at the overhang size of the roof, and we installed more roofing and trimmed it with K-gutter at no charge to the client.  AAC always tries to do whatever necessary to make sure our client's expectations have been met.  After this service the client was happy and noted a positive review on google.  On 4/28/23 a service was reported about a leak in a seam.  At this time the client was quick to change their google review to negative.  Our technician addressed the service 5/4/23 and serviced a small spot.  he noted if it leaked further, we would have to perform a water test.  On 5/30/23 service was reported, this time with multiple leaks.  Upon review, we agreed this was an issue, and unfortunately, we had a run on bad sealant.  During COVID, suppliers had issues getting chemicals to create their products and changed formulas without notifying the customers.  We had a few of these issues and responded with stripping all of the old sealant and replacing with a new line of caulking we felt could fix the issue.  This was an unfortunate issue, and AAC did our best to rectify it for the client.  The service reported on 7/31/23 is the last reported service.  Our staff texted to schedule this service on 8/22 at 9:45am, the client responded at 12:53pm saying yes we would have access to service.  On 8/23, our technicians responded to the service, and they were met by the tenant who told them there was no leak.  Our technicians asked if it was okay to check out the roof and they did an inspection.  The technician called AAC office to ask if the homeowner could come out to the site to identify the areas of concern, so staff called the client, with no answer, staff texted.  With no answer, the second point to contact on the file was reached.  When Mrs. S**** answered she was adamant that she was not involved at all any longer and expressed we needed to contact Mr.  While trying to explain that we had tried to contact Mr. she became extremely unreasonable and ended up hanging up on our staff.

To be clear, AAC has stood behind their product, answered every request, delivered above the contract and still the client is swift to bad-mouth AAC on social media and other internet review sites.  After looking, it appears this is the clients' usual approach.  Finding 16 negative google reviews where she complains about not getting a spoon and crackers with her chili from Wendys and stuffed animals at the play center not being large enough, and her parfait at Publix not being full enough, it seems this is her usual.  It is unfortunate there are people in America who feel entitled to their expectations of perfection to be met at every corner.  While AAC is not perfect, our over 40 years of continuing to serve the community and stand behind every job with integrity and the basic rule of doing what is right, has blessed us with more positive client relationships then this negative one.
