      I requested that the business cap off a disused chimney flue. I was informed that they needed to first inspect the flue and that I would be charged $199 for this inspection, which would be applied to the cost of the cap-off. An employee of the company told me he had performed the visual/exterior inspection on Jan. 20, 2025, and that someone in the office would send me an estimate of the necessary work. I provided my credit card information to the employee. When I subsequently did not receive an estimate or job proposal, I contacted the business by phone, text, and email. I was told by phone that I would be sent an estimate and verified my email address. I never received an estimate or any further contact from the business.

      Hi there,

      We have since followed up with the customer, resent the estimate that was sent the same day she paid, which she approved, however we have not heard back from her. She advised she would remove the complaint so we left it be. Ive attached the approved estimate. We have no intention of providing a refund as we performed the inspection she requested and provided an estimate for repairs as promised. Let us know if we need to provide anything else.

      I previously filed a complaint about this business. Refer to ********. The business appears to be bogus. I requested work to be performed after paying $200 for an estimate. No work has been scheduled or performed, despite my contract approval.

      We have reached out to schedule the work without success, and were very sorry we havent been able to connect. Following our last communication and not receiving any returned calls, we assumed you may have chosen to move forward with another vendor.
      That said, we are still more than happy to complete the work if its something you would like us to proceed with. Our team is ready to assist and will make every effort to accommodate your schedule once we hear back from you.

      For clarification, the $199 service call includes a full chimney sweep and a 10-point inspection of your system. This charge is not a deposit toward future work. Once a customer approves a repair or service beyond the initial inspection, we collect a deposit at that time before scheduling the additional work. As we have not been able to establish contact, no deposit has been made or charged.

      Please feel free to reach out at your earliest convenience if you'd still like to move forward. We truly value the opportunity to serve you and hope to resolve this to your satisfaction.
