I have paid for the 2 hour med tech renewal course twice in the last 2 weeks and never got an email link to take the course. I need this certification so I can continue to work. I'd like the link plus a refund for 1 course. I purchased the first one and waited a week. I bought and took the med aide course. I passed and received my certification. I purchased the course because it said it was valid in the state I live in. In order for the med aide certification to show up when looking in the registry I had to go onto the states website and do an application where I showed the certificate. I was informed that it does not matter if it is nationally recognized and meets state standards. Also med aide certification cannot be gained through reciprocity.Customer Answer

I purchased a 60 dollar course on 12/27/24, marketed as a 6 hour course. I am someone who has been desperate in the job seeking market and really needed something like this.Well now I'm out 60 dollars with no course! I am not complaining about the price but rather the fact I WAS NOT GIVEN ACCESS TO THE COURSE. I have repeatedly called and emailed the business, and despite being informed I was calling during their business hours, got entirely ignored! Nobody answers emails in this century so I'm positive they'll just ignore my emails. Frustratingly the website simply informs you to CONTACT SUPPORT if unable to access account....but there IS NO support. When you attempt to call their line they simply assume via recorded message that you haven't checked your spam folder for the entry email...I in fact, did receive the email, but clicking on it did NOTHING! My account simply is not accessible apparently with no real explanation or support. I never got to even open it. I just essentially threw 60 dollars into cyberspace.Seeing as how I have yet to speak to a real person, and have a single response I am scared to think this is an actual honest to god scam. I just want to be able to take the class or get my money back :(Business Response

Good Afternoon, On 7/24/2024 I enrolled in the Elite Medical Academy for Med Tech training (6 hr course). According to their website: Elite Medical Academy is one of the best med-tech Prep Academy in the ** to take the 6-hour med-tech exam.If you live in *******, *********, or **********, Elite Medical Academy offers an online 6-hour Med Tech Training Course that specifically meets the 2018 Requirements for the Medication Administration.The state of *******, **********, and ********* requires 6 hours of med tech training to pass a med tech certification exam, and then 2 hours of continuing education every year.I finished the course on 7/24/24 and received an email letting me know to request my certificate. I asked for my certificate on 7/24/24, and on 7/25/24 I received an email saying I could get a copy of my certificate and go somewhere else to print it out. I downloaded a PDF version of the certificate which was missing vital information such as the institution's name, address, phone number, and official stamp. I emailed back stating that information was missing on the certificate, and if it could be added because California requires that info to verify the validity of the certificate and the place it was obtained. I haven't heard anything back. You cannot gain employment in ********** with this certificate, because other requirements are mandatory, like becoming a CNA, getting a Med tech certificate, in-person hands-on training, shadowing with a nurse, or other medtech with real live patients, etc. The information on the portal, the certificate, nor is the training able to be utilized after completion. I would like a refund. This place does not meet state requirements for the states they listed. Judging by the reviews this place does not answer their phones or call back when called to place a request/complaint/refund. I took the 6 hours and pass with a 94 and got the certificate and I apply to 2 staffing agencies and they said mines is invalid but it's supposed to be certified I want a refund since the school has lied about becoming a certified medication tech when your not.Business Response

I purchased two course from Elitemedacademy on March 14th and March 15th 2024. I emailed on March 22nd and 25th to get a refund for the courses since I no longer needed them. Per their policy you can contact them within 30 days to get a refund which I did. They did not respond to my emails and their number on their website does not work. I submitted a dispute through my bank and the denied the refund. I need a refund from this company as they are a scam.Business Response

I went to take a class for medication aide and for hiv pathogens. The medication aide certificate is not valid for the state in which I live in is ******* they told me it would be valid and its not and I paid for the hiv pathogens class and it never became available for me to take the class so I dont know if it was valid either I want my money back its a scam and a ripoffBusiness Response

Took the cmt course. Got certificate no issues. Went to use my certificate and was told it was not going to be accepted because it looks fake. The school doesn't put their name on it or anything. Makes me wonder why you wouldn't put your programs info on it and be proud to have people complete your programs. Now I have to take this course again through another program. I really wanted to take their other courses too but not after seeing what the completion certificate looks like. It's looks fake. Would be better if we can get a paper copy with a real signature on it or even a transcript or something. I would not have taken this course if I knew my certificate was going to be an issue at so many places.Business Response
