    Me. **** was referred by a neighbor to trim 3 large oak trees. He came on 4/1/23 with a contract to sign and requested $****** deposit. He would come back in 3 days on Tues. to do the work. Never showed up or called. I called him on several occasions and he agreed to return the deposit. He never did return ****** or do work. Requesting refund.

    We are still more than willing to perform the job, she just needs to let us know when she comes back into town and we will take care of it. If she wants a refund we will, but we will only refund fact to face as she paid in cash and we will refund in cash, and we want the contract back.

    I am rejecting this response because:
    ************  has said on numerous occasions that he would return the deposit and had a Zelle account to return payment.   There is still a ***** request out there for him to return the funds should he wish to.  ************ knows that our son lives at the house and he could return the funds to him if he wants the contract back and face to face contact.  While I was hopeful that we could have him do the work later this year his complete lack of professionalism and disregard for our requests leaves ** no choice at this point to find a more reliable contractor.  He is welcome to call ** to arrange a time to meet with our son to exchange the contract and cash otherwise we will continue working thru legal channels which will result in additional attorney fees, court costs as well as the deposit.
