    I am here to bring an urgent matter to anyone who can help me escalate this issue. My grandmother passed away in December 2023 at St. ****'s, one of the Catholic Health Services Facilities. While I have nothing negative to say about their medical staff or administration, I am highly dissatisfied with the billing department, particularly with ********, ***, and whoever else has the authority to expedite the check I am owed on behalf of my grandmother's care.It is standard practice to receive a reimbursement for any days not serviced if a patient passes away before the 30 days at a skilled nursing facility. However, despite ************************* clear decision in January 2024, I have yet to receive the check owed to me. Even after contacting *****'s ******************* I was told that all outstanding medical bills had been cleared. It was only in March 2024 that I learned the account payment had not been processed due to electronic bureaucracy.I have been incredibly patient with all the emails, misunderstandings, and lack of communication channels, but we are already in mid-April, and I have yet to receive the check. I am now demanding that the check be issued immediately. I am blasting this information on the internet and the Better Business Bureau because I refuse to be taken advantage of. I am not asking for an excessive amount of money; we are talking about a few hundred dollars. If you are a blogger or journalist who can help me further this matter of abuse, please do not hesitate to reach out to me.
