Contracted on 11/5/2024 to have my shower stall sprayed. Notified company on 2/22/2025 the product is peeling off all glass tiles. The stated 10 year warranty all the sudden had pages of fine print that were not relayed during the sale, contracting, or installation of the product. They attempted immediately to charge for the repair then started asking questions to try to disqualify it from the warranty when they could not find a reason they blocked me on messenger. Reviews indicate this is a regular practice when dealing with complaints.

We take pride in our work and always honor our warranty for any issues related to product performance or application errors. However, in this case, the damage was caused by the customer scratching the shower floor. As we explained, our warranty does not cover damages caused by improper use, but we offered a repair at a significantly reduced price as a courtesy. Unfortunately, the customer chose to misuse this platform to threaten us instead.

I am rejecting this response because this does not address the fact that it was deemed damage before being inspected or researched.  I was then questioned as to what chemicals were used and if a mat was used trying to say it was damaged from that. All of this is proof in the correspondence that was attached.  The fact that every small glass tile is showing signs of the same issue means the product did not adhere to that material.  This has nothing to do with a threat on any platform but instead is warranty fraud.   Additionally no criteria was given for terms of the warranty as all correspondence has also been attached, including the contract.

I am rejecting this response because:  They started with denying before ever seeing any information.  They have in these messages accused me of abuse By requesting them to make the repair they Needed to make.  They had every opportunity to make the repair.  They indicated that it was a $200 repair. But they would do it for just a hundred dollars.  Now in the latest response they say. Then it's a $50 repair. And they're talking about a pipe which has nothing to do with this job.   This is a Shower floor.

    Sincerely,

I hired The Resurfacing Experts on October 23, 2024 and made a deposit of $500. ****, The Resurfacing Experts, started to work on my project on November 27, 2024. I asked for a copy of the contract and he never gave me one. After completion I draw his attention on edges of the counter that still had a lot of chips and there was a lot of drippings on the edges of the counters. He had the bathroom counter done and faucets were replaces with different models and he did not put epoxy around the new faucets. I gave him $5,700 and he ask for $150 to pay his guys to install the new faucets. He said to me that I have to wait 20 days for the epoxy to cure and then he would come back and fix all the problems. I waited 20 days having nothing on the counters because I didnt want to damage them. After the 20 days period I called and we fixed a date to come back. He did not show up. I called again. Excuse, he had another job and he could not let it unfinished. Another date was set. Again no show. Excuse, someone died in his family. Another date was set. Again no show. Excuse he sprain his ankle and could not work. He had to stay home for 2 weeks. This was during Christmas Holidays. Another date in January 2025. I do not use ******** on a regular basis but during that time I saw many posts saying Good job, Very happy with your work, etc during the time that supposedly he couldnt work. He published pictures of the work his done in my house without my permission changing my comments to show that I was happy his services. Thats so untrue. I would not recommend him at all.

Hello! This has become a habit with customers, they think the ******************** is going to get in on the scam.
This customer clearly damaged the surface with her poor care, she also purchased the wrong size  sinks hardware  and made the decision to replace them after the epoxy was applied, our company offered to take them back at no cost and do the repair but due to health issues we have not been able to return, we contacted her and offered an appointment for next week and she replied that she did not ,want a refund, to which we asked her why she wanted a refund and she said it was because of the wrong sinks she purchased, we offer to renovate and make our customer happy but if the job was completed in full we cannot do any refunds.

BBB should protect its small businesses from these scamming customers, they damage our image by telling lies for which there is no evidence and causing irreparable damage to the company.

They abuse us to avoid paying or getting money back, but they do not mention the almost $3,000 thousand dollars that we deducted to help them.

    We are being victims of
    racism for being
    Latinos.

    here we attach some
poctures when we finish the job

His first sentence says that his unsatisfied customers are using ******************** to get in on the scam. Im not here to scam business but I expect a good job for the price I pay. Second sentence is accusing me of poor care of the counters. Coming close to the 20th day of curing period I called him and asked how to maintain the counters. He hesitated and said with water and soap. What is the sinks hardware he is mentioning? I never received an offer to take them back at no cost. My daughter contacted him about his poor job and this is when he offered to come back next week. No, I dont want him back in my house. He did a poor job the first time. What do you think he would do the second time? I prefer to have a refund and hire someone else. My trust in **** is zero. He is a liar. His third sentence, that BBB should protect small businesses from scamming customers. Why is he telling ******************** what their mandate should be. It seems to me its not the first time that customers are so unsatisfied that they take the time to write to BBB to file complaints against his services His fourth sentence he is mentioning a $3,000 deducted to help them. What $3,000? I never heard of it. Is it an offer for settling outside court? His last sentence mentioned racism against Latinos. I have nothing against Latinos and/or people that speak Spanish. In fact I hired a company to renovate my floor and they were here at the time he applied the epoxy. So they are my witnesses of what happened and how **** responded. The company that did my floors did a fabulous job and they are all Latinos. They are the ones who draw my attention on details of his job that were not done properly. I thought that **** would respect his word and come back to fix the problems but it never happened. Im not here to scam businesses and I want to thank BBB for their hard work trying to keep some justice/peace between contractors and customers. I maintain my initial complaint and ask for a refund. ***** *******

    Hello,

This customer only knows how to lie, their work was done in its entirety, they definitely want to get money, they don't want to fix their supposed concern, this customer bought on their own the wrong bathroom hardware, for this reason there is a difference in color.

We will not give any refund since our work was done and the details are not our responsibility and so we agreed to solve it, the customer does not want us to come back to fix them because they clearly want to take advantage and scam the money.

If there is any damage to the work then we can apply for the warranty and fix it, for this you can contact ************.

I hired this company to do my kitchen epoxy countertops on ********* I zelled him deposit of $499 on November 22. I asked for a refund on November 25 because i wasnt ready to do the job because i got less appraisals and was told the materials were already purchased and no refund. I went forward with the job on December 6. No written contract everything was over ******** messenger which I have still. $2700 first price was given and then told $3000 because apoxy. **** showed up 3 hours late and started job. ******* thru job he told me after only white epoxy was put in that he had dark brown apoxy when I wanted tan and ***** like picture attached. I told him that's not what I wanted and showed him Picture again. I td hi. To just leave it white because didn't want it to look worse. When he was done he left plastic all up and epoxy dripping from countertops to floor. He told me to let dry for a month a d he would come back and sand off hardened drip epoxy and sand top to get out imperfections and apply an additional clear coat. He told me epoxy would be dry to touch in 3 to 4 days. On 4th day everything was dry except one big section and I contacted him numerous times and told him small bugs were getting into the epoxy and that it was as wet as the first day and dripping all over my floors and cabinets. He kept telling me to let it dry but when I contacted another company they said he didn't apply epoxy hardener in tha section and that it should have all been dry In 24 hours and that that whole se thing would have to be scraped off and done over. When I told **** that he accused me if touching the counter and that my warranty was void and he wouldn't be back and blocked me on ******** and his phone number. I want to be refunded my money because ineed to hire someone to sand down all the countertops and do all over again.

Hello! Our office contacted you and we let you know that you had to pay for the repair of your top cojnter for the damage that you caused when you did not respect the drying time and you refused to pay, you threatened to *** us and we failed to pay. Respect, for these reasons we decided not to continue working with you, we will not refund you either because the work was completed in its entirety and you damaged it, it does not apply to a refund. You have a long history of leaving bad reviews for companies, here I leave written the message that you sent us just 1 hour after the work was completed, we made it clear that you had to wait at least 7 days to be able to use your counter top and you He violated our Warranty policy and damaged the newly finished surface, here is his message:
"There was an air bubble so I thought I could use my hair dryer to get it out and it messed up the paint in one place and I turned around and put the hair dryer behind me in another place. I don't know what I was thinking. I'm so "I'm sick to my stomach right now with all that work you did."

About the color, I asked you if you were sure you wanted to add the brown lines because once we added them we couldn't remove them and you said no.
I'll leave it as it was.

I am rejecting this response because: the warranty and me accidentally touching the epoxy has nothing to do with the shoddy work that was done and the incorrect products that would used on the countertops and the fact that you did it all in 3 hours without letting each layer dry before applying the next.   The pictures attached is the apoxy that was still not dry andvits costing me $2300 to basically have to do all over again.  The job was not FINISHED by any means.   It didn't even have a top coat.  There was also hair from the brush you used instead of a roller for epoxy.   I have the new contractor coming to court with me.   You should be in jail for what you do to senior citizens.

Our company will not continue to respond to what is already obvious, this lady lost her warranty and does not want us to return to fix the part that was not dry, therefore we are not going to give any refund because the work was completed in its entirety.

The Resurfacing Experts re-glazed a bathtub and two countertops in my home located at *********************************************************************************** in August 2023.I followed all the instructions for no touching before completely drying and I did not touch all of them for a week, which means, a couple of more days than I was advised by the company. When I finally did it, I could feel like the paint had sand and the surface wasn't smooth at all. I called *********************, the manager, the person in charge of my project, trying to explain what I found.I left several messages because he never took my calls or answered the messages. I tried to make him understand that I wanted quality for the amount of money I paid. I never tried to discount the amount and I paid in full $1,700. I even asked him to solve this issue because I didn't want to write bad reviews or complain about the kind of work he did on my bathtub and countertops.I consider it unprofessional and rude to not answer your client's calls, messages and requests. What I want to accomplish by filling this complaint is to have the work corrected by the company called The Resurfacing Experts, from ************, **.

This client is lying, our work was impeccable, he is simply a scammer who is asking us for a refund of the money for the imperfections that his bathrooms have, which we explained to him that he was going to have before completing the work, since they are imperfections of his own material that the bathrooms are made of.

I repeat that this client is lying, we warned him that his surface was in poor condition and that the work would never be 100% perfect, the material of which his countertops and bathtub are made is porous to obtain a perfect surface like the one you If you want, I offer you to install new countertops and a new bathtub, the price is 6 times what we charge you for the restoration, and we will discount the previous restoration, other than that there is nothing we can do since you were warned before completing the restoration.

I am a business owner with over 30 employees and I did NOT ASK FOR MONEY. I WANT A SMOOTH FINISH like I had before.
So find professionals to do it, come and fix it. I do not accept the kind of reglaze you did.

We booked their services The Resurfacing Experts was quoted $600 for the bathtub, $149 for the paint (basic white), pictures were sent showing ALL angels of the tub, on site the price increased $100 because they said that they had to sand the tub. Which should have been included in the price because all resurfacing jobs require sanding. They arrived close to 11 am & left at 1pm- 2 hr in total. They did the job, however, due to the chemicals & painting techniques used we were told to let it dry for another 12 hours & do not go in the room. We could not feel the product because it ruin the finish. The individual insisted on $750 cash then & there. He would not accept 75% payment with a comeback in 24 hours to collect balance & give us time to approve the completion of the job. I was promised a receipt & 10-year warranty, which was never received. The next morning after keeping everything sealed off, we went to check on the tub & final product my whole tub only has 1 smooth spot the entire inside of the tub feels like sandpaper there is paint splatter / frosting spray all over my newly installed windows from 2 weeks ago. I immediately reached out to the company for help, information, receipt, copy of the warranty etc. They posted pictures of our job on their website & ******** without our consent. As of now I have still have not received ANY communication from them & have sent numerous correspondence requests. They have blocked me on ******** & in messenger & are refusing to return my phone calls. I have a tub that CAN NOT BE USED. At this point Im out $750, need my tub completely redone & have to figure out also how to clean the new window. I would not recommend BUYER BEWARE THEY WANT CASH (INSIST ON IT) & PROVIDE NO CONTRACT (THEY SAY THEIR PAPERLESS, ) FOLLOW THROUGH OR WARRANTY. I honestly just wanted them to fix the poor job that was done (APPLY A CLEAR COAT) however they have no intention of making it right so I will inform any prospective jobs about my unhappy ending as an actual insight to my misfortune.
